What is the breakfast of champions?
So what it is, in your opinion? What do you have breakfast yourself? What would you LIKE to have breakfast every morning?
Here's the thing. Breakfast, the most important meal of the day.. I've been ignoring it for too long and I miss the days when I had food and made wonderful breakfasts.. I like the American style breakfast, but I can't eat it too often it's kind of.. unhealthy (I mean eggs, bacons and the whole works). But sometimes I do. Or is that English breakfast? Whatever, I'm not a big fan of bacon, it's tasty and good but it's kind .. heavy to eat every single morning.
I'd like to learn to make those pancakes you do, because they don't sell them here and I have no idea how you make them, but they taste good and are good for me. So that I want to learn. Also, what do you usually drink? I like orange juice the best. So go ahead, lay out the dream breakfast! I want some tips.. I like breakfast and I'm kind of bored to the old bread routine.

Traditionally it is milk/coffee, orange juice and dry toasts with butter and honey.
But these days it's just ice coffee and a couple of cigarettes.

Loose scrambled eggs and stone ground wheat toast are what I had this morning. I let my eggs cook a little bit before scrambling them, so there are bits of egg white and also solid bits of yolk before I begin scrambling.
My favorite breakfast is a phat bowl and a pot of coffee. Mmmmm, wake and bake!

What is a phat bowl?
I just thought if you want to be a champion, you have to do like the champion, starting it from the moment you wake up!! YES I saw Rocky just moments ago.
But I think the traditional black coffee and a cigarette is not a breakfast of champions .

That's true. I was talking about breakfast, traditional - not champions and then mine, generally.
I suppose a champion's breakfast should have more proteins in it than a normal breakfast.

This is probably my favourite breakfast. Too bad I'm always in a hurry in the morning.
smoked salmon
scrambled eggs
rye bread
orange juice

smoked salmon.. that's fish, right?
I usually eat rye bread too.. rye bread and some cheese on it, and then orange juice. But I'm so bored with that combo, I need something new. I'm thinking about changing some things to get little spice, that means taking off the nude posters of my walls, and put something else there, and changing my breakfast .
So, anyone with those pancake recipies? I'd really love that one.
At some point I did porridge too, but now I'm too lazy to do that. Also got little bored with it.
And none of those hungry mans for me, thank you .

I usually have left overs of whatever I had for dinner the night before. Nothing wakes you up like a curry.
A toasted pita with humus or margarine (depending on the kind of pita) works good too.

A Bob Evans breakfast. Oh yeah! Now we're talking.
(1) Blueberry pancakes slathered with butter and syrup
(2) 2 eggs, over easy
(3) 2 sausage patties
(4) OJ
(5) Coffee

Gangerolf, looks pretty tasty, except I'm not a big fan of fish, unfortunately. I eat it, but not so often, and certainly not for breakfast . Well except if someone makes them for me.
So how about those pancakes making tips? Anyone?
Also, I'd like to make like toasted how do you say... bagels? Is that the right word? I think not.. hmm.. You know, bread that looks like a UFO, except fatter. Almost like hamburger breads you know? Ok anyway, I'd like to toast them, but since they don't go to my toaster I might heat them up for a little bit in the oven, and then put some warm honey in it. do you have any tips how to make that perfectly? Little insider info?
