I love omelets and sausage. If not omelet- then scrambled eggs.
But I generally only eat like that on vacation when eating out.
During the rest of the year I only eat 1 8 oz yogurt cup. And that's it.

cold cereal for me most of time -- a variety of types:
Frosted Shredded Wheat
Total (plain in blue box)
Lucky Charms
or else Frosted Flakes
Of course, with the essential glass of OJ.

What is the breakfast of champions?

There was a film called 'Breakfast of Champions'; think it starred Bruce Willis. Possibly the strangest, most confusing film I have ever seen...Has anyone else seen it? If so, can they remind me of what it was actually about?

Most days it's a bowl of rice crispies. If I want to be decadent, I have a piece of toast with honey as well.
If I want to kill myself, I have a proper English fryup:
2 fried eggs, 2 rashers bacon, 2 sausages, baked beans, fried bread, orange juice, tea, sometimes mushrooms, tomato, and plenty of HP sauce and Ketchup

Re: What is the breakfast of champions?
If I have time, homemade pancakes. If not, either toast or nothing. If I feel like a treat I do a full english, but haven't for a few months. If I feel like ripping my intestines to shreds, then cereals and milk.
The best I've seen is Pembroke's (Cambridge) imfamous sticky toffee pudding for Sunday brunch (As I'm sure IW will find out) That is the breakfast champions. Fat champions, but champions nevertheless

Pancakes are the greastest. Made myself (unless my mums in a good mood with me ). Always use the same hybrid recipe, always stacked (3 if I'm feeling good, 5 if I'm feling greedy) and always served with olive oil (or olive oil spread) and lashings and lashings of Canadian Maple Syrup In fact, I'm going to go downstairs and have some now

It all depends on your physical activity though. With my rowing i burn off aprrox 1800 kcals before breakfast, so I need to get a decent breakfast in.
So 4-5 days a week I'd get 3 fried eggs, 3 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, hash brown, beans, tomatoes, brown toast, pint and a half of milk, pint of orange juice.
But as you say, it'd be fattening for most other people.

Two slices of toast, buttered.
A slice of fried bread.
3 rashers of smoked bacon.
Scrambled eggs.
Grilled tomato.
A sausage or two.
Mushrooms or beans, depending on mood.
Black pudding (crucial ingredient).
Big mug of tea.

Wow that's mouth-watering.
Except I'd replace the scrambled eggs with hard boiled ones, orange juice with tomato juice. Then add oatmeal and whole grain cereal. And a fruit (usually apple, though nectarines, plums and cherries are my favourites)
