Because Feephi was first to post to try to get in, I bow out from this game...

If the person setting up the game doesn't mind the trouble of adding the Austrians, I sure don't. (I think their UU is The Schwarzenegger :-).
I'll be able to play my turn at about 06:00 and/or 18:00 GMT, for turn order.

You're right. Addding Austria does look like a little more work than is claimed in the thread I linked to. Within the weeks someone will probably post a modified conquests.biq that includes Austria, I'm sure. However, everyone is waiting to start the game so I'm not going to ask you to wait for that or do any mods just for my sake.
If you are only adding one more player, then I would like to be Carthage. If you are allowing E_T to play as well, then I'll play Vikings since he asked for Carthage.

GF asked for a ruling. It sounds like a mod is possible. I think it would be worth it.
Carthage? Scandanavia? *yawn* Excuuse me.

I wasn't trying to veto anything, just giving an opinion. Never mind the semantics, I'll go with whatever will get things rolling...

So what is going on? Who is going to play and what rules are we using? Everything has changed so I have no clue what is going on.
A mod was made adding Austria do we want to start with Feephi as Austria?

I will reiterate my previous post - I really don't care what settings we use ... We can even set the settings at random for that matter.
Concerning the mod allowing Austria in, I'm fine with this too. My only question concerning playing with a mod is will all players have to upload the mod into their system for the game to run or does only the host need to do this?
(as you can tell, I haven't played with mods in PBEM games before.)

That's a good question. This was originally just supposed to be a quick pbem with Conquests right out of the box. New civs and all random settings but suggestions kept being made so I don't know where its going.

Ok. I set up the game. If no one minds we can go with it or start another. Here are the details:
I'm not sure if you need the scenario file or not but here it is:
I installed it into my Scenarios folder.
4000bc to Wittlich. If we run into problems we can restart if needed.

Turn 4000BC Sent to Ghengis.
Evidently, I didn't need to upload the scenario file - it worked just fine without it, so I guess that only the host needs the modded file...

Well, if anyone needs the file other than the host, I'm guessing it would be the Austrians! But I'm guessing that Freephi has it already installed...

Well, just to play it safe, I downloaded and installed the files into my Conquests-Scenarios folder - just in case I really do need it.
