I hate MSN Messenger!
What kind of thing is this supposed to be?
You can chat with your friends but you can't chat with common people because chat servers have been shut down forever, and you need people in order to make new friends! Come and chat with no one, wow!
Comments are appreciated to know if there's something wrong either with me or with MSN

I've never used the chat rooms in MSN.
It's a messenger for people I know -- period.

That's what happens when I pay attention to Poly users
But it has nice colors that match with both my eyes and my desktop

You can even change the colors in MSN 6.1.

I finally found a programme that makes my profile's picture look so damn gorgeous and it would be great if it wasn't that GODDAMN THERE'S NO ONE HERE!

Asher, per the other thread in which I remarked my utter hatred for how Microsoft butchered Messenger's look: I found 5.0 and downgraded to it. It uses up a lot less resources as well

Why would I want to chat with commoners, I have plenty of friends registered.
chatrooms are for democracy games and 14 year old girls (and the 45 year old fat guys that prey on them)

Personally, I like the new messenger. I don't want to chat with random people, only my friends, and it does that fine. It also pops up notifications when I have email. And it looks nice.

The new MSN 6.1 allows you to remove the window border if you want, too:

Trillian doesn't have Hexic, an extremely addictive multiplayer game from the creator of Tetris.
Not to mention no support for MSN webcams, voice convos, multiple file transfers at once, and fun timewasters like Solitaire Showdown.
I use Trillian Pro 2.0 for ICQ, AIM, and Yahoo, MSN 6.1 for MSN.

Trillian
Nice thing about trillian is SecureIM and I also like the container thing.
Bad thing is that it takes up a lot of space and quite some resources. Even more if all you need is ICQ :-)

I seem to be having trouble with Trillian at the moment. For some reason, it won't let me access the MSN Messenger servers, thereby preventing me from talking to 95% of all the people on my contact list.
Maybe this is my punishment for using a dodgy copy of Trillian Pro.

See, if I cared about anything else but just talking to people I know then I'd use MSN.
But I don't, so Trillian suits me just fine.

It looks (from the poll) like Datajack is the one not working properly
Dosn't surprise me though
