Official: Research Options Poll II
This is a decision-making poll.
Yes there has already been a poll for what our research options should be, however it was posted (and voted on) with less information than is currently available. Thus the poll shall be redone... if you have objections to this, there are poll options for you.
Instead of voting on specific techs to research, this new poll instead provides the options of which research path you wish to follow. All paths have been calculated based on Minute Mirage's spreadsheet programme... if you have objections to these, there is a poll option for you.
I have assumed that we have 3 research objectives right now, Centauri Ecology, Planetary Networks, and Industrial Automation. Each tree offered stops when the last of these techs is researched. The differences between them are when each is reasearched. I have eliminated some of the options that are obviously worse than others, and am providing you only with the most desirable options. The following techs make up the lists:
Information Networks
Planetary Networks
Industrial Base
Industrial Economics
Industrial Automation
Centauri Ecology
- (no tech in any beeline is available, the choice for what to research shall be made when this option comes up)

I thought the quicker Cent Ecol the better and with Info Net we have a chance to build a net node in case we pop some AAs.

Agreed. Both Formers and Planned should be made available as soon as feasible. This will push IndAuto back one tech, but it will give us Formers four techs quicker, and Planned one tech quicker. This will give us time to build up the forests we need to make large-scale crawling useful.

Surely Doc: Flex (after Doc: Mob) would be worth the not-so-useful Doc: Mob diversion, in order to build a Foil Transport or two and clean house on those sea pods for Artifacts and the like. We don't even need any defense, worm combat being all morale and everything...
