After much deliberation by the Gaian High Council, it was unanimously agreed that allowing the University Faction to transcend was not acceptable, and so authorization was given to the Gaian High Command to take punitive steps towards disabling the University Faction from achieving the Transcend state. "Operation Autumn Mist" has begun, with the Gaian Expeditionary Force (GEF) being rapidly mobilized and launched into action in tandem with the already engaged Data Angel Assault Groups. A thick pall of smoke drifts slowly eastward from the scorched University lands, as the GEF and Data Angels strike hard against the University defenders. Gagarin Memorial, Lab Three, and Planetary Archives have already fallen to the GEF, while other University cities lay beseiged.

The GEF announce the seizure of two more University bases, and are continueing to press northwards towards the remaining University strongholds!
Note that the Gaian High Council, after lengthy debate, have called an election for repealing the UN Charter. The Gaians feel this is necessary after discovering massive man-made lakes of chemical wastes in each of the University cities captured to date. The poisonous chemicals are presumed to be refuse from unknown University experiments, and so therefore the Gaians have no qualms about arming our choppers with these poisonous chemicals and paying back in kind to the University what it has been doing to our beloved Planet!
