The first movie made me THINK.
All the second one did was make me laugh. They should have left it alone.

I enjoyed the second one as much as the first. The highway scene and scene with the Merovingian guys were better than anything in the first one. The Zion scene was stupid, but there were boring parts in the first one as well.
The second one went above and beyond the first in terms of special effects. I think the reason so many haters rip on the second is because there wasn't any hype surrounding the first one and it took everyone by surprise. With the second one, people expected the same kind of overwhelming surprise and amazement, but in reality, set their own standards too high.
I'm reading the same kind of reviews I read for the second one. The Chicago Tribune says it misses the mark and gave it two and a half stars. For people who are genuine fans, I suspect they will like the movie.
All the haters can suck it.

It was OK. Oh, alright, it wasn't very good.
A load of stuff that happens. That's what this film is. A load of stuff that happens. I just couldn't care that much. Quite silly in places.

One of the most disappointing films ever... Damn, at least the end could have been better. By the way, I saw Reloaded today for the first time as well. Enough Matrix for one day. :)
If The Matrix was a ten, then Reloaded is a seven and Revolutions a four.

If it wasn't for the special effects, I would have rated #1 a waste of money. The locals who were fans hated Reloaded, so I didn't see it. The critics hate Revolution, and you seem to agree. I'll probably have more fun playing Civ.

Welcome to 21th century cinematography
Great movie and I think it gives birth to a new genre, the attributes of which I'll explain later.

Not as good as the first two IMO but it is hard to judge yet as it is the end...it does make things fall into place and you need to see it anyway to quench your curiosity regardless

Actually, the Trib only gave it 2 stars.
Just got back from it - the Zion battle scenes are very good from a purely visual standpoint (that is to be expected given what can be done nowadays), but the first one was much better from a standpoint of making you think.
Two-and-a-half stars.
Bottom line - 'Master and Commander' in a week and a half, 'Timeline' in three and a half weeks and the ultimate - 'Return of the King in a little more than a month!

This movie sucked! I give it a 3.5 of 10. The only redeeming quality of the movie is the final fight.

hm. so from what i'm hearing, it's not worth $7.50.
guess i'll wait to see it in a second-run theatre for $3.50 or rent it instead.

Don't bother renting it. It'll just ruin the others for you (if you even liked the second one...)
