Six years of marriage, one year of dating = 7 years.
My bad luck that my marriage has overlayed the time frame of many Civilization releases. You single guys can play all night if you want -- even call in sick the next day.
All I can do is endure "You are STILL playing that stupid game?" "Aren't you ever coming to bed?" "I wish I never bought you Civ II as a gift"
blah, blah, blah

Married, been with my wife for about 8 years now...
Oh, and no porn on my hard drive... Who needs it? I have a cable modem and can just go to the sites and leave the space for more important things like music and Civ saves

Men + Bananas = YUCK
A few observations:
1. It's mostly men on this site
2. Five people selected "Engaged to a banana"
3. Never planning to eat bananas again.

I'm quasi-single at the moment. The uncertainty principle is playing havoc with my love life.

Married for 18 years as of next January. (it just seems like forever)
It's a family access machine so there's very little if any porn on it.

Coming up to 12 years. No porn. There's no porn yet invented that's dirtier and more offensive than what I write after a night on the scrumpy.

You need to move on to the next stage of marriage; after you have a sleepless baby your wife will be pleading with you to stay up all night playing Civ with a baby on your shoulder

I haven't told her that we are in a relationship. Honestly, I don't think she even knows I exist
Really, it's about finding one you can "cope" with. I have never had a problem wanting to spend time with my wife from the day I met her... After 6 years I realized that wasn't going to change so I married her. I have, with other girls, tired of them or got sick of them after several weeks or months... That's why I don't encourage someone to get married really quick (unless the other one is really rich, of course )

Yes, for about 3-4 months now, which doesn't sound like a lot, though it feels more serious than that. I still don't understand how it didn't feel at all weird going away for the weekend to Reading Festival after only having know each other a few weeks (2 of those while she was on holiday ) but I'm so glad of it

(This is way to obvious, but had to say it anyway :cute; ) Maybe they don't want to sleep
Seriously though, nothing makes me happier than Louise falling asleep with my arms around her. I guess it's because the relationships relatively young, but I wouldn't want to be playing civ while she was in bed

ya all they care is you take care of the baby all night-- I will say that a squirming 6 month old reaching for the keyboard can lead to unfortunate bomber crashes, weird unit moves, a few real crazy decisions overall and a more challenging gaming experience

Easy-- you find someone with whom you never feel like you are "coping"- The fact that you personally have not found that person yet does not mean they are not out there

Yes, she is very... Efficient!
Ms Mobius is a cunning one - she lets me think I can do what I like and then *crack* suddenly the leash snaps tight!

Funny you should mention that Myrddin! I've been through that routine twice! First daughter is four years old and my second daughter is four months old and I'll play a few turns with her on my shoulder at 4 AM. Obviously, you've been through that...
It's pretty bad that I associate vanilla Civ 2 with my first daughter and Civ 3 PTW with my second daughter. I'm not a bad parent, am I?

forgot the porn part...
I've got porn on my computer, and plenty of it!
I had to encrypt the files using a triple des encryption routine; setup up multiple logins for the family; make access to "the porn drive" available to my account only, set automatic purging of temp, offline content and cookies after each exit.... and get really frustrated with all work that takes so I just broke down and bought both my wife and daughter their own computer (with no porn - my daughter's at least!).
