I was also going to post an inquiry about this, though along less profane and offensive tones. Cam and Will seem to be around, and if I understand correctly, Blackclove is settling in. Still, a new round of scenarios (if they are availble) for review would be nice,

Dr Blackclove is in the process of moving and starting a new job, so real life has him tied up. Cam off for a few days to compete in a competition in his industry, but otherwise he is around. For what its worth I'm here. Did you need somthing WarVoid?

The reason that I don't have ICQ is because the world is full of impatient people. One man's impatience does not my prioity make.

Hi all!
WarVoid,
Many thanks for your concern - just by way of explanation;
(a.) with the exception of a few odd occasions here and there, I log onto the Apolyton forums at least three times a day to see what's bubbling along. I used to be a frequent poster on the forums, however notice that they seem to be managing themselves very effectively - as such, I'm still here, but not visibly active.
(b.) William, Blackclove, and myself coincidentally are each going through huge shifts with our respective careers - which has sadly been a big distraction from Civ. Nonetheless I've tried to be prompt in getting the site updated with the reviews and the tip I have received in the last couple of months.
(c.) Yes - I have been interstate for a few days, and am pleased to say that my application for a study tour to France was successful , but it clashes with the Olympics and I need to unload most of my tickets (hmmm - a new career in scalping?). The tour will see me gone for a month.
(d.) I'm aware that William has a small number of reviews to pass along to me for upload to the server. At this point Blackclove and I are the only ones (other than Markos and Dan) who can update the League's site, so we might have to look at some sort of shuffle in responsibility if Blackclove does not bounce back into the throng within the next couple of weeks. Blackclove is the one who has the password to the sleague@apolyton.com e-mail facility in case there is material sitting in there waiting for action. I don't have any Design Tips to put up at this stage.
(e.) I have nothing to do with the list of scenarios 'for review' - however reviews are accepted for any scenarios, so the community need not feel confined totally to the presented list. Furthermore I believe there are some scenarios on the existing list that have yet to attract a review.
(f.) I do have an ICQ account - but it became so full of unwanted messages that I barely use it and don't publicise it.
Thanks again for noticing my 'apparent absence', and hope this blurb clears it up.

Don't worry, these forums are doing great. Sometimes, its good just to let the creation alone for a while and observe the fruits of you're labor. By the way, did you get my email requesting a link to Sleague on my site?

I'd love to take you up on your offer, but I've got obs of my own... this is one of a very few times I've been wishing recently I WASN'T in college....
Have you heard from Techumseh at all the past few months? I need to make sure he's still on board to judge the ToT entries for SDC 3, otherwise WV's gonna handle it....

Not me personally - I've just tried your link; crosswinds.net/~shadowstrike/ , but it didn't seem to load the page. If you wish to link to the Scenario League, I'm sure Blackclove would be delighted with the extra publicity!
War Void,
Thanks for the offer of help - not much to do right now, but you never know....

BeBro mentioned this too. It seems that I missed the www. part when typing it in. It should work fine now, at least on my newer posts (I finally fixed it about an hour ago).
Unfortunately, there isn't much on the site, and it will be a while until my scenario is done...

I can read posts, but only post randomly (and rarely) due to some server/browser problem. Can you email me Reismark?

Actually, as it turns out, I now can no longer do updates either as I have moved. Apolyton is set up so it's impossible to access it if you're not on the "approved" list, and every time you switch servers, you can't log in anymore. I am currently in Tallahassee for two days (picking Lili up from the airport) but then will be back to my real job on Tuesday. It may be a while before Markos and Dan and I can coordinate getting me access down there, especially since my university account there has had all kinds of problems getting set up.
Some things may have gotten lost in the shuffle. I tried to send everything I had to William for processing, but I may have missed some reviews. I had to get off my work computer in a hurry and purge all non-work related files before my stukach coworkers found them :/.
So, things are going veerrrry slow around here right now. Hopefully we'll be back at it eventually but we've been hoping to get going again for the past few months, and things have been slow at best.

I regularly use two servers and havn't had many problems. If you're having trouble try using a previously visited pages and going from there to the forum lists.

Well, Blackclove, i'm very glad to see that you haven't fallen off the end of the world or anything serious.
So now we all know where everybody is.
Now comes the hard part. Coordination.

Just to explain, it's more than just FTP - I understand you are required to be 'recognised' (as per the 'official list') in order to amend Apolyton files, which makes me the only one who can... Mwah Ha Ha - The Power!!!!
Co-ordination? I'm leaving Australia (please don't refer to it as 'Down Under'!!!) on the 14th of September. I believe William has a small number of reviews to process, which I'd be pleased to upload. There are no extra design tips to be done as far as I'm aware.

A quick note to advise that I've returned . In the last month the Scenario League received a few reviews and files for upload and assessment. I hate to set myself deadlines, but I'm intending to get the 'for review' files up soon (within the week), while the submitted reviews of existing scenarios under the microscope have been redirected to my colleague William Keenan for editing.

Thanks Stefan, I've not looked into that particular problem at this point, but it's useful to have noted.
Yesterday there were six 'to be reviewed' packages put up - modpacks as well as scenarios. Those with a 'Napoleonic' bent have a choice of two scenarios.
As noted, while the League will be delighted to receive input on these selected files, reviews are welcome on all scenarios (Second Front?). I have passed along any received reviews to William Keenan for processing.

Just by way of update... there's little to report. My colleagues seem to be out of reach, while I've got no further material to post (I did receive a 'to be reviewed' submission yesterday, however it was a very undeveloped scenario and have asked the author to rework it if possible).
William Keenan advised me in his most recent e-mail that indeed he had some reviews which he was working on, but I've not received these. I am hoping to get these soon, as my job takes me away for the last two weeks of November.
One thing I intend to do is to zip the entire Design Tips section as a single 'web format' download as has been requested in another thread. Thereby people need not go online to access the Design Tips.

Shadowstrike,
It's here!
Please note, the file is a tad over 2MB. There's a 'readme' that also notes that some links and graphics are broken if you're off-line.
