As it turns out, I’m not very patient. I bought a copy at Best Buy after work today. The one they ship me from Amazon (once I take the bonus CD) will end up as someone’s Christmas gift.

Yup, this will be the last time I use Amazon for a new game.

Cursing them worked; they haven't sent me a confirm email yet but I went to the my account page on Amazon and it looks like they put the goodies in the mail.

I preordered from Chips&Bits, yesterday they told me I had to wait for a few days. I know nothing about these shops. I just clicked second link of Apolyton's preorder shops... Amazon is the first, EB is the third. But I found nobody here preorder from C&B.... I just order another copy from EB's website.

Don't worry The Slayer, after the war with the Portuguese, I decided to turn my efforts to my own infrastructure. Although the Mayans decided to plunk cities down in the gap where the Incas had raised my cities. This was a bad idea. I had to take these cities because they were interfering with my continental integrity. It was a lightning war involving 3 cavalry and a Man O' War. Following this I have enjoyed peace for hundreds of years.
P.S.

Update: just received it in the mail this afternoon.
Very good considering that I selected the cheapest shipping option on my pre order from EB Games, I haven't quite finished my current civ 3 game yet.

Same thing here. Amazon usually ships the same day as release or even a day or so before but Amazon.uk is now telling me to wait another couple weeks
So long...

Best Buy. $29.99
I also used up the rest of my gift card, and my brother gave me all of these Best Buy dollars he got from McDonald's fries (I would never eat there)
I got no bonus CD. But it seems like the stuff that is on the bonus CD is already installed.

Hi guys!
I am not sure where I should post this, not even if I am the one to announce it first, but I am in the pleasant position to inform you that at last I got my own copy of Conquests here in Athens, Greece, yesterday 12/11, at Papasotiriou Stores for €30.00.

OK, I'm not going through this thread completely, any sightings in Europe, or non-US in general?

Antwerp Panag, Antwerp. Brugge is a 100Km away from here, 'bit far to look for a game by bike !!! :nono
-
Regarding Antwerp:
More bad news :
I checked two stores this afternoon, one might have it by tuesday(delivery day) or thursday, but wasn't certain by any means. (FNAC-groenplaats),
The other one hasn't even heard of it and nothing showed up on his PC (they are still selling vanilla civ3 btw, no gold, no PTW and they pretty good with other games, just no with Civ )
( the latter is Mediamarkt - Keyserlei )
