Very simple question
I am a simplistic player...I like to start a random game and play away. I don't get into all of the scenarios and modding that others enjoy and thrive on.
What I need to know about Conquests is if it will still fit my style...should I spend the money. Or is this another Scenarios type of add-on like they did for Civ2? Will I be able to start a random game and get then new civs and units and such?
I don't know if others can answer that for you, we just don't know you well enough. Having said that, I should think a CivIII fan would enjoy the new traits, new units, tweaks to many items.
New civs, not to mention the improved editor, even though I do not use the editor. Others do use them to make interesting mods and the price is not so great, so in short how can you go wrong?
For the most part, all the units will be available. I can only think of a few scenario units that aren't also for the main game. Even if you're not a scenario player, Conquests has a great deal to offer you.
