Darn this Forum - it sucks you in
I have to say this is quite a forum.
I've never been so captivated by the excruitiating minutia of such mundane matters. The juxtaposition of important and mindless concepts creates an irony of epic proportions. The ability of some to prattle on and on about news items of questionable importance is constantly astounding to me.
I would like to think I had the willpower to leave this forum, but perhaps this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. In any case, I look forward to wasting the next three hours reading facts that are neither informational nor informative.
When a meaningless concepts springs forward in my mind, I plan on posting my trivial drivel which will spew prolifically from the depths of my mostly useless brain.
Thank you and I'll chat with you again in four minutes.

It's very few forums that have their own satellite forums (Counterglow, FFZ) where the participants sit around and do little other than talk about what happened at the main forum. Kinda bizarre if you ask me.

I agree. This place is adicting. I also learn a lot about the news and opinions here that I would never get elsewhere. I think it is because we have members from all political ideologies and from across the world. The place is rich in both politics and geography.

On the contrary,
I take umbrage with your clearly unschooled and unsophisticated position that trolls must lower themselves to the discourse of the public. For are not trolls called to a higher path in controlling the discussion rather than being a mere subject? Such superior standing ought to be reflected in every statement scribed by the truly tutored troll.

True. But not all that extreme. The left wingers all seem to believe in democracy and the right wingers do not advocate the immediate execution of all commies. So in a way, moderation prevails here.

The vast majority of CG has little to nothing to do with Apolyton, and it's a satellite forum of ACOL.

It's changed alot. You'll find that friends just vanish, often without a word. After all these years I've learned to keep it at arms length. Also, if you become addicted the mods own you. The threat of a banning becomes real, and a post count reduction, imagine that, has even impressed some.
We built a house for some poor folks though, once upon a time, and that was magic. Put a kid through school too. Amazing.

Girlfriend's birthday coming up.
I'll probably revert back to plain old Ben Kenobi afterwards.
