Very cool - as that is exactly what the Aztecs did - enslaved their neighbours. But they did just use them as sacrifices rather than workers, so I guess that means the RP thing to do would be to add them to your citites and pop-rush galore....

Probably a needed one; given how powerful it was.

Makes a certain amount of sense. I'd always wondered why industrious civs got more out of their slaves...
But it is another hit on the industrious trait.

Are you sure about the Man o War converting naval ships into Man o War? It doesn't make much sense at all.

No, the RP thing to do is to sacrifice them for culture points.

How do you "stop the aggression" against barbs,
|
Does it stop when you eliminate the encampment?

Well it does make sense that captured ships remain as naval units instead of becoming workers because the Man o War is not capable of carrying land units (and thus would not be able to transport a captured worker to land).

It would make some sense if they became Privateers - captured ships co-opted to be run by mercenaries and manned by the captured sailors.
So what's the answer? Men O'War capture a ship - ship becomes....?

The Man-O-War is the civ3 version of Agent Smith. It's like a virus, copying itself at the expense of others.

Good question. Don't know -- I did it as a test and then reloaded the game from just before the civ addition. In retrospect, quite silly since I am playing the whole game with a view to exploration / testing as opposed an efficient win.
