Sn00py does it again, I love those wetlands. What's the file size for the download? I'm using the library computer and they don't have a CD burner. Meaning if it won't fit on floppy I'm SOL.

Just once more for a stupid guy like me
Does this file include the entire set of Sn00py's terrain mods, or only the files needed because C3C has new terrain?

EDIT: Never mind...I know now.

I'm still getting C3C marshes. Does anyone have an answer to my earlier question? What did I miss to make the marshes work right?

did you replace it in the right folder? it should be beneath the conquests-subfolder.
something like this:
.../civilization 3/conquests/art/terrain/
maybe you placed it in PTW which might be ignored by the game.

Complete Snoopy Terrain Files
The C3C graphics look awesome. Besides these graphics, what else to I have to download to have the full, updated fileset for C3C? Also where do I look for these files.
I found two large Snoopy Terrain Filesets, one labeled "Snoopy Green". Is the green version the one I need to download/extract? Then I just add the latest C3C graphics?
Any help appreciated. I will be going from the completely original C3C graphics set to the complete Snoopy version. If someone would be so kind as to briefly explain how to go about this, it would be greatly appreciated!

AFAIK, yes you add these to one of the sets found on the PTW disk. ( they are both slightly different IIRC ).
Then copy these files the the directory, should look something like:
Civ/C3C/art/terrain
That's the one you want, 'terrain'
Remember there are more of these folders though, one in the vanilla civ folder and another in the PTW folder , you want the one in the C3C folder!!
PS: Don't forget to back-up blah blah blah

Thanks Sn00py. I've added your Marsh terrain to my game and they look great. I think it's your best endeavour yet. When Civ 4 comes out, they should hire you to do the terrain graphics, you do a much better job.

I am confused... is this only the volcanoes and marshes? What about everything else?

Guys... I have had Sn00py's mod for PtW installed for a long time, and when I installed C3C it seemed to start using Sn00p's graphics for them in C3C too. Thus as long as you have his original graphics, you should see them in C3C.
BTW thanks for bumping this - I would not have seen it in Files, as I rarely come here, and it was only due to sheer blind luck that I was using the "find latest posts" feature that I saw this.
There really should be some better signposting in the main C3C forum... perhaps a single thread advertising what's new in Files...?

If you have PTW, it's included as a scenario.

I am still confused... where are all the terrain files? I don;t want to just have access via playing a scenario.

go to
[...]\Civilization III\CIV3PTW\Scenarios\Sn00pys Terrain\Art\
and copy all the files in the appropriate folders
[...]\Civilization III\Art\[...]
you may want to keep a backup.
alternative: edit
[...]\Civilization III\Conquests\conquests.biq
and add his scenario folder. to see how, check out the sengoku-scenario... they use the PTW-japanese-figures...

OK I got some dumb questions:
I have not installed snoopy's mod previously.
I now have Conquests and the bonus CD that has Snoopys mod on it.
I want to upload it to the CIV 3 files.
Where do I put it?
All in the Conquests Terrain? Or does some of it have to go elsewhere?
I have Snoopy41g.zip and Snoopyv41S.zip
What are the differences and what is the purpose of the .bix file in these directories?
Thanks for the help
