Yeah, I'm available... but...
My wife has informed me again that I have to take my little one to swimming class between 8EDST and 8:50EDST. This "only once in awhile" event seems to have popped up again.
Like before, I'll be home early, so if everybody would like to start, than take a dinner break...
What can I say. I wasn't too pleased when my Wife dropped this one on me... AGAIN!

I'm in. Where's War4 been lately?
Like I said last week, I don't mind starting around 7:00 or 7:15 or so EDST and taking a break for Ming, but I'd like to know ahead of time what we're going to do so I don't rush home from work if I don't have to.
Let me know.

I got an ICQ from War4ever... he is still having problems with his apolyton password... Plus, he is working too hard and will not be able to join us tonight.
So if somebody could find us a sub....

See you all tonight once I get back from swimming...

"I built TOO MANY wonders"?
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
You probably thought you were playing against the AI
Nothing wrong with that. Since it seems you were locked in with really no place to expand, what else were you going to do...
That was fun last night. I hope my wife will be able to handle the swimming lesson next week.

If you would like, I will delete your old log on... and this one... and then you can register again under your original name. I'll even ask if Mark will restore your post count. Let me know. And don't worry, Bezerker is doing a great job for you in the game

Yes, he's doing a terrific job for you. In fact, he's actually managed to hold on to 3 of the 6 cities you had when you left, and even managed to hold on to Home base until the 2nd to last turn last night.

Hey, War, Matt was kidding. Actually your civ was kicking butts and way ahead in tech (almost got nuke). I had the embassy you know, so I knew it. All other civs only got musketeers.

The Beaver/Ferret alliance is just kicking but. Repelling attacks, racking up sciences with the GL.. I think you guys have all the key wonders. Should be nuking our mideval units in the near future. We can't wait for you to come back and take your rightful role... and help even things out

I got only 9 cities, second to last, but civ score was the first. Must be the wonders. I built too many wonders this game.

Just love the new name. CWB
All these people must have been playing a different game. I think there has been only one new city for your civ in the last two sessions.
Yes we have more techs, but other civs are ahead of us on some of the critical paths.
Kicking butt, hahahahahha The americans/canandians didn't even show up on the powergraph
The last sessions was spent defending against hoards of musketeers from Bubba. (Your valiant sub did manage to steal gunpower before the hoard arrived.) The hoard did not fare well. HAHAHAHHAHA
All the good wonders. GL JS SWA Shakes. Not quite all the good wonders. (You'll love the story how we got screwed on MC)
To Bubba and Ming, Beware the English and the Vikings.
To XIN and Bird, Beware the Mongo.... alliances.
Yeah, that will work.

Well CWB, maybe the next time you push the button, you will avoid killing your own troops, and maybe even take the city you nuked
And Rah... don't worry, we know who the real enemies are

Well, it's Tuesday. I will be around at a reasonable time on Wednesday. I don't have to do the "kid swimming" thing.
So post here if and when...
Hope to see you all on Wednesday

Sounds like we might be able to start a little earlier, although xin probably holds the key here. I can be home any time after 7:00 eastern.
I still want to know what happened with MC, rah??

As the days grow longer the semester draweth nigh unto it's end. And there is yet much physics to be done. Even an exceeding great ammount of physics to be done. Thus it must needs be that he who doeth physics in the night must needs do physics Wednesday night.
So hear, oh Ming, and give ear, thou brother of RAH. It must needs be that we should find a sub, yea, even one worthy to take over from my hand for a season. Consider well the plan I did mention unto thee. In all seriousness did I mention it, and facecious was I not.
Let he who subbeth for he who doeth physics in the night be a perfectionist of talent, yet also one who knoweth how to expand. For as the sands of the seashore must the Mongols become. Whosoever would sub for Matthew, let him speak here that I might contact him regarding geopolitical strategy.
