Oh my god, you guys really improved the AI!
After nearly two years not playing this I started it up again, of course, with a couple of mods. I plugged in Super Apolyton Pack and Goodmod. From my memory, I chose "Very hard", and by the time I got Samurai, I was wiped out. Ok, lets go again, "hard", this time I got almost to pikemen, then wiped out!
Incredible! Very good work guys, but now I will try the next lower setting.

Yep the modded game is a completely new experience
Some of these guys have put a lot of really hard work into them

Been playing the mods as well.Best so far is Mymod-by player1.Diplomacy is has improved alot-almost on par with SMAC.Would like to see a change in the diplomacy text.Does anyone know if the words can be changed or is this hard coded?
