centers of trade
i have been playing as byzantium for a long time it is 1476 and thrace is not yet a center of trade will it ever be?

EEP is one of the two main user mods created by users at the Paradox site. Vanilla = unmodified. Don't worry about it.
Since the CoT in Thrace is created by an Ottoman Empire event that triggers after they capture Thrace, then you will not get one. Under EEP with the Byzantium fantasy events turned on, I believe there is an event to give Byzantium a CoT in Thrace at some stage.

That's right. If you are playing EEP with fantasy events, you get an event about the Byzantine renaissance, after 1453 IF you own five specific provinces(originally Ottoman) and are orthodox. If you get that event, and get it before 1495, you'll get another one. This will give you a cot if you choose the right choice.
