Best deal for C3C (Europe, mail) ?
What's the best deal to buy C3C online and have it ship to Europe? I'm talking about the US version here.
I ordered from Gamestop last time and it was pretty cheap and quick, but UPS sent me a bill for import taxes or something half a year later (!).

Why do you want the US version BFM? The UK version is supposed to work perfectly with US vanilla civ3.

I want the US version because it's the product that Firaxis seems to put most effort in. For example, US patches seem to appear before other version patches. And, I have the US Civ3 and PTW series already. You put it well when you say:

They usually don't do this, but if it's marked as a gift (from a private person !), you don't have to pay import as long as the gift is under IIRC 50$.

Should no longer be the case.

I doubt whether any game store would want to mark C3C as a 'gift'.
The point is: the taxes are taken care of in a bad way, since I can never be sure how much the product is really going to cost.

Anyway, I just ordered it from Gamestop: $29.99 per CD plus $19.99 for shipping plus $??,?? for taxes.
Anyone got a better deal?

I think the UK version appeared in a store in Belgium.
My retailer told me that the game "might or might not be here on Dec 1st".
