ok i'll try a change and blame you when i get the first complaints thread
|
Much better now The way it was it looked more than a grease stain than anything else.
However, why do you put it in every post? Wouldn't a link in the top and bottom of every thread be enough? There's very little added value in displaying the thread 50 times a page as opposed to once or twice...

keep it how it is, or I'll forget about it one day and then never remember it again. that would be sad indeed

Nah, you'll get used to and forget all about them in no time anyway -- or at least I will. I have the same thing with sigs: never read or even see them unless someone specifically points them out. Same with most of the other info that accompanies each post, except for username, custom titles, flag and avatar.

What about a Paypal donation thing? The only people on the list I will buy from is Amazon, and I already have too many books already.

Much better!!
Underline it or add an exclamation point and you're there.
And like Lefty, I'm always ready to take the blame if there are complaints...

The answer is simple -- In the forums, I don't see the top or bottom of most pages I go to, unless it's a thread I've never seen before, or if there's a fresh page break from new posts.
Outside the fora, a header/footer icon of some sort would make perfect sense...

When you fix the bug regarding posts in the OT not counting, I'll fix the bug about not buying any more stuff.
I don't really care about my post count, just don't like being bugged.

Do any of them accept payment on delivery, or only creditcard?

They sell more than books, you know...
Wasn't there some kind of talk about the PayPal thing quite a while back where it was said with as many advertisers it might make them mad or something?

hi ,

allemaal aanvaarden ze een creditcard
maar pas op met de belastingen , koop daarom liever in de EU of heb as plaats van levering een adres daarbuiten en laat het dan vandaaruit opsturen , ......

Actually, you can copy the link to Amazon and then put that in as your amazon.com bookmark. That way no matter when you go to amazon, you've still got your support 'poly link.

Any word on "premium service" yet? Still thinking 1st qtr next year?
BTW, when do you and Markos sit down to do your budget? I assume 'Poly has a fiscal year. If it is calender as well, then it should be time to have next years budget about ready. If so, are you budgeting for premium service revenue? and, if so, how many premium service sign ups do you anticipate?
You guys know we all want you to have enough money to buy Atari, right?
