You forgot 'libertarianism' too (if we're including economic policies as religion).

Not much to it that I can see, although it is certainly all-powerful. God help the world if Amaterasu and Co. ever decide to venture out from this sacred land.

Off-topic, insulting, and severely mistaken on several different counts. Wow. Capitalism is existent as a separate system from communism, just like the more moderate forms of socialism. It's mostly mentioned in the context of Communism debates because the rest of us don't object to it, but capitalism is just as "real" as communism.
And while Satan is a Christian concept, to suggest that satanists are a mythological subset of our faith is ludicrous. They're a reactionary group that exists for shock value, but they do exist outside of Jack Chick tracts in thankfully small numbers.

Try romanji. Whatever you typed sure didn't translate well.
And I should've typed "prepare to get 'tsued," which is what I was aiming for. It would've been hilarious. Ah well, another comedic failure.

You have to set your browser to Unicode to see the kanji. It's "bengoshi-kami" in romaji.

Atheism is not necessarily the lack of religion; rather, it is simply the belief that there is no God. It is still theoretically possible to follow some kind of religion, and be atheist.

I voted atheism; it is the only option which does not require the use of misleading words such as : faith, belief, trust, intention or sincerity.

Catholicism and Protestantism are not different religions. They are branches from the same tree. Therefore I will protest your obviously inaccurate and carelessly flawed poll by voting for the banana religion.

Im not sure thats quite true. There's a market economy, private property, etc - but what is capitalism? Why privilege the role of capital or its owners in charecterizing a market economy? Historian Ferdinand Braudel, who most certainly DID believe that capitalism was a useful category, still felt the need to justify that assertion. (BTW he did not consider capitalism identical to a market economy with private property)

Power. All lefty political analyses are more-or-less based on who's got the power and who should have it. Thus commies lift our the owners of capital as they're the ones who weild most power in a capitalist economy.
Could you withhin their belief system design a market economy with private ownership where capitalists (marxist sense) did not weild the most power? Possibly. You could ban corporations for instance, or require all companies to be owned privately-yet-collectively by the workers...

|
In addition, if you seperate Catholicism and Protestantism, then you have to seperate out Protestantism, because you have very different variations there.

I would've thought you'd know your own country's history better than this. Not all Daoists follow what could be called a Daoist "religion", but there has been a significant religious form of Daoism in China for thousands of years. It was one of the main competitors to Buddhism in China for a long time.

The confusion arises because there's no differentiation in English between the two, though in fact they are very different from each other and should have separate names in English, as they do in Chinese.
