Castle Master? That one had plenty of 3D perspectives.

Well... I did know one adventure... I think it was an adventure... didn't know it was an adventure back then though...
It was a Garfield game, I believe it had a more specific name, don't remember though

That would have to be Garfield's "Big Fat Hairy deal". I never figured out what exactly you had to do to complete it. Apart from finding Odie in a sewer and finding anything edible there wasn't much to do.

Nope nothing right(or close!) yet.
Clue 2: the intro was rather humorous and featured a creation myth of sorts

Was it called Heimdall? I remember the game perfectly - it was damned good too, but I'm not sure this is the name of it.

Correct duke o' york
It was Heimdall released by Core Design in what i suppose was the Amiga's hey day. Link to more info.
A great game for its time, and not too bad now - i still fire up my migi and play it from time to time, throwing axes and catching greased pigs has never been so much fun

I remember that game! From an old C64-and-Amiga magazine I had one copy of when I was ten, which I read to absolute tatters and which may have started my fascination with reviewing stuff (I'm currently on a culture journalism course with a view towards becoming a critic).
