PM box suggestion
Don't know if this has been suggested before but I wonder if there is a way that we can add to the PM function that one can see how full his PM box is. There are too many times that I had a full PM box without knowing. I think CGN has something like that where you see clearly how full your PM box is. Also they have a place you can move the PMs you want to keep to.

There's a button to download your PM's to your computer.
But I always get full without realising too, 'cos it only shows the most recent messages.

Do you really use the PMs that much? In the time I've been here, I have used PMs some 3-4 times I think...

Well it was used mainly for Demo games but sometimes for PBEMs also.

Wow, I never realized that before. Finally, no longer heartbreaking choices what supercrucial PMs I should delete or not!

I think it is a good idea to be easily able to see how full the box is.

Probably not that many users who would really get the use of it but still a good idea.

I'll have to give that a look. I've had an increase in my normal number of PM's, and I want to leave space for the DG reports without worrying about a full PM box.
I believe the number is 150 PMs, which does not take long to fill if you also record your own statements.
Just a short conversation can be 10 PMs easy.

100 PM's. BTW if I had saved all of my PM's I would probably have around 200 by now

So then it shouldn't be so hard to make a little bar to show how much your inbox is filled up.
Code:
|
<?php
$percent = get_number_pms($userId);
?>
The Inbox is <?php echo $percent; ?>% filled
<img src="bar.gif" height="5px" width="<php echo $percent; ?>px"> |
Of course, what do I know of how vBulletin works? Nothing.

Vovan, you have already reached that limit.
I am trying to send you a PM, but I can't. Please delete some of the older messages.

Don't forget that PMs sent when you check the "Save a copy" box count against your limit and are located in the "Sent Messages" folder.

 Maybe it's a more accurate translation than previously thought. I said something to the tune of :
"I am not saying anything meaningful. I am simply typing words in to make more Chinese characters".
