And I will crush you!!!!! for sleeping with my wife!!!!
I married her yesterday, be sure to visit her before you go to the forest.
Besides, I sleep in my house now, I'm never attacked!

Bah since that Incident with the Fountain I dont care 'bout Violet anymore.
But Seth has his own Band! hes so cute!
All of them increase attack and/or defense for a specified number of rounds- NOT turns.
ie, 1 forest fight is 1 turn, but you can swing 15 times, or rounds.
ACK!

Tuberski has been rather hostile to other on this forum since they changed to christmas-hat smilies.
Game mechanics: Violet
Spoiler:
Once you have some decent level of charm (talk to Seth I think to see what he thinks of you, above 15 charm is super), you can flirt with Violet once a day. Of particular note are the "Take her upstairs" option and the "Marry" option.
Firstly, the "Take her upstairs" option gives you +1 charm guaranteed every single day. Charm of course increases the amount of gems you get from Adonis, so more charm will get you more gems, making the game much easier for you. My charm is around 285, I have heard of others with charm above 2000.
OTOH, Marrying is more of a gamble. After marrying Violet your only option is to flirt with her. Sometimes you get +1 charm, sometime you lose 1 charm. However there is a bonus for your risk. On the days you get +1 charm, you also get "Lovers protection", which increases your defence by 20% for 60 rounds. This is only used when whatever you are fighting attacks you, so if you kill the enemy in the first shot you don't even use up a round of this protection.
Personally though, I wish I didn't marry her. Guaranteed charm is much more powerful than 20% bonus protection sometimes.

I know, rotten buggers.
Getting a house is better, simply go to your bathroom once a day and take a shower.
Guaranteed +5 to Charm.

And is it me, or is this game way too easy. a few enchantments and nothing level 10 (I'm level 9) can kill me. Of course, I'd get whipped against any human opponent (until I go through the game a couple times) and the masters are chumps.
squire, gladiator, legionaire, and Sir, where I am now.
Thanks for the flowers.
ACK!

It is a random number somewhere between 1/10th of your charm level and your charm level.
However there is also the DK (Dragon kills) cap. It is also maxed out at 100 times your (DK's +1), so a farmboy with 16000 charm could still only get a maximum of 200 gems. A squire with the same charm would be able to get more.

About being married to Violet, I noticed that when you start a new day you have to read the text when you enter the inn. When Cedric the Innkeep mentions Violet you should stay away from her. Because of "this time of the month" or something like that you will loose a charm.

No you keep your mount (any type) anyway, but you must tie it up if you wish to log out via your house or it runs away. ( no big deal with a horse, a dragon hurts a little bit more)

Ahh, so that is what happens. I didn't notice. It takes me an hour of play generally just to get under 50 FFs each day - dragon keeps resting. Not that I'm complaining. And I just got my new house.
Plus I am moving up in the ranks...

5 kills I guess, because with 6 you become Sir, like I am now.
You get drunk by buying an ale in the inn - which also gives you a bonus to attack for 10 rounds and increases your health - even beyond the maximum. Very nice.
Also, gems and gold can be transferred in your house when you kill a dragon.
