Great new design tip
Just want to say here that the new design tip about some interesting terrain effects is excellent and a great help. Especially the example (a galaxy over four different squares) is very impressive. Good job, kobayashi!

And not only with galaxies... just imagine a Solomon sea scenario drawn this way... hmmm, there are endless possibilities!!!
I used something similar in my aborted Kok scenario, only that i used units to perform unpassable mountains ( isetted them on barbarian mode, of course... ).

You're right: the possibilities are enormous if you have the imagination.
I was playing around with the idea before for masking a 3x3 diamond to look like a spherical planet. The terrain2.gif
and the result
I certainly didn't do anything this comprehensive though. Great work

Thanks everyone for your support. I would have replied earlier but believe it or not, I didn't know there was a Hosted Sites Forum for S-League and I have been browsing the Civ2 forums until chris alerted me to this thread.
Does any else have any interesting examples?
