I don't mind you starting but we're waiting on Luk. He seems to have disappeared.

If he doesn't show up soon, I'm ready to take his slot. While I wouldn't play in a game without wars, a game with wars made less attractive is ok with me.

Ah, what exactly is the "it" that your speaking about Cerberus?
Any how, this looks like it should prove to be a rather interesting game! Thanks Cerberus.

Thanks Sir Ralph but remember that this PBEM is called "Give Peace a Chance." It's a kind of 'experiment' to see if a group of human players can have a game of Civ without resorting to wars and aggression for enjoyment of the game. Anyway, from the responses I've gotten so far I'd say the answer is 'no'.
If Luk doesn't get back to me by the end of the day or tomorrow morning then please take his place. Thanks for offering.

If Luk doesn't show up, I will take his slot. And as a sign, that I will try my best to be peaceful, I choose India. Yes, no new civ for me, the good ones are all taken. I'm at GMT+1.

Okay. I waited a day and no sign of Luk so Sir Ralph is in as the Indians. I'll tell Cerberus and he'll get things started.

3950BC Turn sent to Anatolia.
I'm still curious as to what the "it" that Cerberus talks about is...

Cerberus isn't playing. He made the scenario so he took the first turn for me. Maybe "it" is on my soil .

If it does go off, do post some screenshots as I am very curious to know just what effect a volcano has.
I will be keeping an eye on this thread but you are not getting any more clues as to what is out there.
