City names?
Has someone some nice ideas for citynames for undersea cities?
I have such things like New Atlantis or Pacifica, but I need some more for a SciFi scenario...

Hey Bernd.
Use names of ancient gods/goddesses, such as Greece, Rome (same thing, pretty much), Incans, Aztecs, Mayans, and other gods/goddesses, particularly ones having to do with the sea.
This scenario looks great. Wish your website was up. Good luck with that as well.

I suggest you get a map that shows undersea features and name the cities after some of them.

You could also use the names of famous undersea scientists, explorers, researchers, etc.

Also undersea mountain and famous sailors' names should be nice...

Thanks for the ideas
George, I uploaded a small version of my website at:
http://home.debitel.net/user/bbrosing/Civ2000.htm
Some data are currently not available (MustPlay scenarios, wallpapers), but my own scns are, including the SubWar preview.

A simple question Bernd, how many city name do you need? First I do have quite a collection of names that might fit and second I have a vivid imagination Just tell me if you want the names of a civ for example follow a certain pattern or style.

Thanks William, these names are good!
Hendrik, I think the scn will be not as big as Imperium Romanum or Cross&Crescent. I plan a maximum number of 100 turns and there´s also a lot "ocean" (deep sea) on the map. So I need not hundreds of names, but as many as possible

You might be interested in checking out my relatively old, not too complete, and pretty bad undersea scenario for ideas.

Hey thanks, Gothmog! Just looked into the files - it´s for ToT, with multimaps? Nice ideas. Have to reinstall ToT.
But my scn will be completely in the deep sea...
