Conquests 1.02
Atari France has moved quickly to post the 1.02 version of Conquests that we prepared this month. The primary goal of this update was to address several minor localization errors found in the French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions of the game. (The earlier 1.01 update had caught the major localization discrepancies. Note that the 1.01 fixes ARE included in this 1.02 update as well).
This update does not include any fixes that require update to the code or game executable.
Since all of the European versions of Conquests share a common installer, you can update any of the language versions of Conquests (even US or UK English) from this same installer posted by Atari France. Since code was not updated, the fixes included are minor art and scenario design fixes. Here is a list of the changes included for ALL languages (including English):
Art: Corrected display of silk as luxury in city view in Rise of Rome
Art: Corrected Scourge of God splash screen art in Fall of Rome
Art: Build road/fort animations now show for Legionary in Fall of Rome
Art: Cataphract now uses Ancient Cavalry art in Middle Ages
Art: Corrected Mining tech art in Age of Discovery
Gameplay: Missionaries can now be loaded on to ships in Age of Discovery
For now the update can be downloaded from Atari's French web site:

yes. not to sound ungreatful, but we could have lived with these, shall we say, "cosmetic bugs". But I suppose it's better to have it out of the way now.

I think it is because Breakaway can (and has) fixed these issues. Firaxis is doing the code fixes.

Its no great deal .. but it still says 1.00 on the front screen ..
Where I work, you'd be flogged for such a mistake .. personally .. good to see your already making updates.

As mentioned in the news about the patch, since this patch does not replace the executable, the game will still show version 1.00 in the main screen.
