The BEEEEEEEST Christmas Song?
Well, last year I managed to pull this thread because I did it EARLY enough . Looks like I get this one again! And it IS December too..
So last year I also did a poll, which failed miserably because some of you complained about me not making a poll of 400000 songs they knew.
So, this is open thread without polls.. what's the best EVER christmas song?
ps. give full names.. (for downl... for information purposes)

"Do they know it's Christmas" is a bit treacly, but I like the tune.
The John Lennon Christmas song is a favorite of mine as well.

I like that little drummer boy song- though I'm not sure if it really is a christmas song.

Dissident, I remember that being one of the issues debated last year also.. . I can't remember how it turned out.
As for me, I'm still undecided. right now though, Cheryl Lynn - You Saved My Day is rocking my sound system.

Xmas-Stealing
Bender: On the fourth day of Xmas I stole from that lady
Robot /#1: Four familiy photos
Robot /#2: Three jars of pennies
Robot /#3: Two former husbands
Bender: And a slipper on a shoe-tree.
Santa Claus is Gunning You Down
Amy: He knows when you are sleeping.
Farnsworth: He knows when you're on the can.
Leela: He'll hunt you down and blast your ass from here to Pakistan.
Zoidberg: Ohh.
Hermes: You better not breathe, you better not move.
Bender: You better off dead, I'm telling you dude,
Fry: Santa Claus is gunning you down.
Elves Song
Elves: We are free and fairly sober with so many toys to build. The machines are kind of tricky, probably someone will be killed. But we gladly work for nothing
Fry: Which is good because we don't intend to pay
All: The elves are back to work today
Elves: Hooray! We have just a couple hours to make several billion gifts. And the labor isn't easy
Leela: When you all work triple shifts! You can make the job go quicker if you turn up the controls to super speed
All: It's back to work on X-mas eve...hooray
Leela: And though you're cold and sore and ugly your pride will mask the pain
Fry: Let my happy smile warm your hearts
Elf: There's a toy lodged in my brain!
Elves: We are getting awfully tired and we can't work any faster and we're very very sorry
Bender: Why you selfish little bastards! Do you want the kids to think that Santa's just a crummy empty handed jerk? Then shut your yaps and back to work!
Elves: Now it's very nearly X-mas and we've done the best we could
Fry: These toy soldiers are poorly painted
Leela: And they're made from inferior wood
Bender: I should give you all a beating but I really have to fly
Santabot: If I weren't stuck here frozen I'd harpoon you in the eye!
Elves: Now it's back into our tenements to drown ourselves in rye
Leela: You did the best you could, I guess, and some of these gorillas are ok
Elves: Hooray! We're adequate!
All: The elves are resting X-mas day, hooray!

Little Drummer Boy, but I see some Rock and Rollers have been nominated. Okay, I agree with John T's nomination - John Lennon's song (So this is Christmas).

Lennon, ELP, and "Little Drummer Boy" for traditional.

elmo and patsy - grandma got run over by a reindeer
wham! - last christmas
the roaches - we three kings
mormon tabernacle choir or rockapella - carol of the bells
enya - silent night
loreena mckennit - god rest ye merry gentlemen
trans-siberian orchestra - christmas eve sarajevo
now, having demonstrated my complete lack of musical taste, i'll actually look for some of the songs i have that i really think are truly great.

Silent Night.
I wrote an essay several years ago on the Christmas truce of 1914.

Joulupukki pökki muoriaan
Korvatunturilla innoissaan
Mutta muori katala
Pukin poissa ollessa
Käytti kynttilöitä!
Joulupukki, joulupukki
Parta katki, silmä puhki
Käypä tämme, emme pelkää,
isi antaa sulle selkään!
Äiti ampuu haulikolla,
pikkuveli ilmakolla,
Anna lahjat, painu hiiteen,
ennenkuin mä lasken viiteen!

I so hate all the christmas carols/songs they play these days. especially all the smiling "buy everything now, bananas now at 1.2 euros per kilo"- version that you have to listen on every corner, supermarket, mall, tv etc. This has been the first christmas that I would just like to skip, or just go to church and have a nice quiet one without all the commercial fuss.
Whams Last christmas is one of the bearable songs tho. And of course Stefus song rocks
joulupukki puree ja lyö is a classic too

While it goes around the world and gives little children less than minimum wage in order to work for hours in a factory to make goods that (Jingle)
