Banana resource
Is the banana resource in C3C a tip of the hat to Apolyton?

Apolyton should be a wonder that requires the Internet, makes three happy faces in every city, and decreases productivity nationwide by 50%

It really isn't a banana. It's tropical fruit.

Isn't it technically a vegetable?

Er, no actually. A Banana is a fruit.
Veggies don't grow on trees, as far as I know.

No, you're thinking of the spaghetti trees. (Might be too old for most of you.)

I posted this in a poll about the Aztec's civ traits. Well, actually I didn't post a banana poll, rather, I posted 'the new banana resource' as one of the selections in my poll.
BTW: The 'Banana' answer far surpassed any of the other possible answers to the poll.
Edit: Here's the link. The Banana won handily.
