Hypothetical: man sentenced to life without parole kills in prison in non-DP country
Suppose that a man sentenced to life in prison kills his cellmate because he doesn't like him. What options are there other than the death penalty?

Solitary, or hard labor, perhaps making the assets acquired with the guys work pay some sort of pension for the family of the man killed.
Or we could make him part of the Bush administration.
And if you pansies stop being such pussies and get real here..slow and punishing torture leading the man to insanity and multiple attempts at suicide, which one makes sure to prevent, in order to prolong his unspeakable agony for as many years as possible until he gives up the will to live.

Just proves the death penalty does deter murder, permanently.

Does not "deter," as it is after the fact.

I've always been against the death penalty.
But I've never been opposed to endless torture

It is a verifiable fact that executed people no longer commit murder. Sounds like a great deterrent to me.

He would be put in solitary.
The Death penalty is clearly not a detterent, otherwise the US would no longer have reccoutrse to use it.

Hypothetical question:
In a country with a DP, a man is sentenced to DP. After being executed, a proof of him being not guilty arises... How do you revive him?

Mental health evaluation and assignment to an appropriate medical facility should it be appropriate or continued imprisonment.
Inquiry into why the other prisoner was placed in the same cell if the danger was known.
Everyone here who's rooting for torture or DP disgusts me.

Put him in a higher security prison, and take away his privilages. Solitary confinement probably. Also don't parole him. Someone like that, life would usually mean life.

Send them to a Turkish prison. That should have a BIG deterrent effect.
