Can't get Riverwar to start, HELP!!!!!
I downloaded Riverwar a while back and forgot about it. Today I wanted to play it and it wouldn't start. After trying to load the scenario a popup said that it caused an error in Civ2.exe. I have MGE and was wondering if I needed to track down a copy of FW.

I've heard this problem before... I think deleting the "Labels" file will make it work, if you've run the exe file already.

Check your e-mail. I have sent you a fix that solves the problem. Kull gave it to me a few months back. The problem is in the River War txt file. Just replace the existing river war txt with the one I sent you.

Alright, Exile. Didn't I send this to you a month ago? No matter.

Yes, you did, but it got lost. My email service (AOL) takes the obnoxious liberty of making any email that has been received in the past disappear. I don't know why or how they do this, and I can't make them stop. If an email sits there for several days or a week or so, it vanishes into thin air and there is nothing that I can do about it.
I often wonder what pinhead thought that that was a good idea.
I wonder how much he/she gets paid?
It's waaaaaay too much.
Salutations,
Exile
