Hilarious euphemisms that YOU use!
I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about when I say "Auntie's visiting", or that I'm "having the painters in", or maybe even just "having my period".
But this expression takes the cake:
"Fallen to the Communists".
Many thanks to Dr Benway for this euphemism.
Post away with your own amusing euphemisms here!

"Communing with the moon" is one my good lady uses, though I prefer "M'lady's foul drippings".

Is it just me, or does Ali have an unnatural fascination with her period (PS, we get you are a woman) .

Well, the euphemisms I've heard about 'that' subject in finland (actually crappy and rather free translations to english):
-"muddy weather" or "bad weather"
-"regular maintenance"
-...
okay, it's now obvious, that those aren't very funny. Well, at least I tried...

Broadening the field, I think my favourite euphemism is this-
"Bugger grips" = Sideburns.

Sometimes I can be found discussing the migration of the elusive barking spiders...
One I hate, and am opposed to using, but laugh everytime I hear it is about avoiding getting ones "red wings".

For the starting topic: "the red week"
Others:
Vomiting: "pray to the porcelain god"
Take a dump: "strangle a negro". For obvious reasons I never use this one myself, and to be honest I have no clue about its origins

Beating the Bishop...oh wait, wrong thread.
It's reusing the aunt one, but I also cracked up hearing:
Auntie Flo is here.
I always picture "Flo" from Mel's Diner saying "kiss my grits"
