Dean's is democratic and grass-roots. Its going to change things; hell, it's already changing things.
|
Because McGovern's democratic and grass-roots campaign changed things, because McCain's changed things, what a joke .

I didn't use my tongue that time... anyway, I was answering for him, because more than likely he wasn't going to answer with the truth .

Actually, he is not fat anymore. And secondly, Rush is more entertaining and intelligent in 5 mn than any democrat in a lifetime. Heck, just listening to Clinton or Gore would make me want to vomit.

Dean isn't completely anti-War. He has repeatedly said that should the need arise, he would not hesitate to send American troops into battle. As regards Iraq, it was a war that not only didn't need to happen, but was contrary to our interests and has hurt America. Now that we are there, he says the only option is to win, but the Bush is incapable of doing what is needed.

What i meant was completely anti-Iraq war. I agree with his stance on that, but Kerry's is far more electable, as Zylka said earlier. I want Shrub out. If he's replaced by Kerry or Dean I'm not too bothered.

Now if we had a real pacifist, that issue might even come into play for me. Apparently I'm to the left of Kucinich on this one.

You're bringing up a campaign 30 years ago? Yes, a lot of things did change after McGovern's campaign, probably in large part because of McGovern's campaign (that, Viet Nam, and Watergate). The mid-70's were probably the most democratic era in American history.

McCain's campaign isn't either at the same scale as Dean's campaign or as democratic. And he didn't win the nomination. Dean probably will.

Sort of...
When Paul writes to all the saints, he's not talking about dead people.
As for prophets, everyone has a gift, one of which may be prophecy. Not everyone will be a prophet.
Not sure where you get the allusion, Imran.

It's something Luther said. Well, actually every person a prophet, king, and priest (saint, priest - whatever ). Every person is a prophet, thus every person has the freedom to speak. Every person is a priest, thus every person has freedom to worship and associate with likeminded. Every person is a king, thus every person exercises God’s authority on his behalf.

I didn't say that. I said Viet Nam and Watergate were other contributors to these steps forward in democratization.
