Funniest Threads in OT history
What are some of the funniest threads ever created in the OT?
I was just thinking about the time when the Iraq war threads were getting out of control, and Ming and co. made a rule about no new war threads. So someone (Possibly Sloww or GP?) made a thread called "Do you like Ice Cream?" and inside was a one liner about how we were going to kick Iraqi ass. I could not stop laughing

I remember that my thread called ''arrogant bastard'' made quite a few people laugh. Some even said it was the funniest thread they read in a long time.
Kudos to me!

Not technically in the OT, but I think the funniest thread of all time HAS to be the Mac Forum drama.

Some of Laz's threads qualify as contenders for "funniest first post in a thread," such as Evil Evil Finland or the Christmas Story thread or the Historical Filth threads etc., but I don't think that they'd really qualify as contenders for "funniest thread" unless all of the posts but the first were deleted from them.

A while back Fez started a thread where he posted some patriotic painting he made with soldiers and a flag. I don't remember all the details, but most of the comments on it were something like "this painting shows your inner homosexual fascist" and "filled with phallic symbols" and crap like that. Fez got all upset and asked the thread to be closed, but I laughed my ass off before it was.

That Mac thread was pretty over-the-top.
I love the way that Ming let it run on for the entertainment of all.
For the first time I laughed along with Asher, when his MS vs Mac carry-on generally drives me up the wall.

all the old EvC threads were pretty hilarious too. the ones where he would claim to have gotten saved, and then taking the cure for homoism, argue and talk to himself using DL's, only to revert back to his normal old EvC self a week later.

Everyone thinks their own threads are funny / insightful / sexy / whatever. My only OT thread that really lasted any time was called "How Bored Are You?" or some such thing.
Actually, if you ever go to the NationStates forum, you should read some of the threads with the arguments between Archaic and Sheep. There was a time when their fighting really took the place over.
