Empires: Dawn of the Modern World

I was just wondering if anybody could give me some feedback on this game. I liked Empire Earth, but there were definitely things that were lacking in it. I've only played the demo of RoN, and I plan to buy it but only after it drops in price. This game on the other hand seems quite interesting. Since it only spans a 1000 years, it must leave room for a lot of possibilities.

I just read a maximum pc article about it and they gave it a 9/10.

So has anyone played it, and if so what do you think?

I haven't even checked it out. Empire Earth has still left a bad taste in my mouth, so I'm avoiding it. Besides, I love RoN, and will play that for quench my RTS thirst.

But I haven't heard much at all about DotMW.
