Team Commitment, are we commited to TWO games?
Right from the UN:
[qoute]Since we are talking about a system in which 6 of the teams will have to play two games, it would be nice for each team to 'commit' themselves on paper (pixels?) in this thread to stick it out for the second game if they are called to be in it. If a 1st place team pulls out of the second game, it would mess things up, as the champion overall won't have known if the team that pulled out could've been beaten at all, which lessons its victory.
So, can the team captain of each team post in this thread that their team will stick it out for both games if need be?
CDG will play in a championship game if it finishes in the top 3 in the qualifying game. We will not back out of it, screwing the other sites that have put so much energy into this game. [/quote]

This fascist is OK with THAT kind of cursing....
What does this mean? That each team will play two new games and the average score of the teo will be used to determine the top team? Isn't this a little ambitious for this early on?

Did you read the UN thread?
10 teams to start.
5 each in two games to start.
The top three in each game proceed to the final for a total of 6 teams.
The winner in the second game is the winner overall.
Got it?
