pcr question
yes probably been asked a thousand times before, but cant find a quick answer..
so question is , are PCR logged anywhere or does the mod just alter the database numbers and no one except that mod and the poster (unless it posted in a thread) will ever know....
Is it stored as info in database how many pcr people have had ?

'Tis madness, yet there is method in it...
It pretty much sums up my view on Economics... I seriously thought about having it in my thesis together with another good line from the Matrix...

So what do you want to know?
The total amount of posts ever removed in pcr's
Or specific stats for individual posters?

Is this for the "a little statistics" thread?

Unless the "%" is posted in the thread where the person earned it... no, there is no "public" place that tracks all the PCR's that members "earn".
In the private forum, 99% of the PCR's are actually logged.
(They are all supposed to be logged, but I say 99% because I'm sure one or two was probably not recorded) But you would have to go post by post through all the BAN LOG threads to come to a total per member. PCR's are done by altering the database. There is no record other than what the mod posts in the official Ban Log Thread. In addition, in rare situations, a member's action may be the cause of a seperate thread being started, so one would have to not only check all the old ban logs, but look for the member's name in private forum threads to see if additional PCR's had been given to them.
And last... many PCR's were handed out before the start of "official" ban logs that were started when we changed to the new software. I have a bunch of old spreadsheets from when I first became a mod. None of that information can be found anywhere on Apolyton.

What is the biggest PCR given in terms of total posts lost?
I'm guessing it was the "Falling from Deity" PCR given to PH.

private forum?
ooh,ooh I want access!! .
I lost almost 1500 posts once. Not something I want to go through again . yes I admit, my post count means something to me. It's not like I really care about raising my post count, but I don't want it lowered either.

Trip lost about a thousand posts a couple a month ago, ironically while and perhaps even more correctly because* he became a HOF member , some just couldn't stand it I guess.
* Not implying the mods gave him a 10% because he became a member.

Nah, it was just a trick to enter my own data into the database using a "modified" control panel form.

Either that or MtG resetting his own PC to 0 a while ago (he was a Deity IIRC), not sure if that counts as a PCR...
