Riots Break Out in New Zealand!

A clash between pro-annexation demonstrators and anti-annexation demonstrators occured today in Auckland, ground-zero of the Chinese district. This was bought on by the fact that there has to be a re-vote for annexation due to cries of fixing the votes the first time. This clash fortunately did not result in any fatalities, but an estimated 50 injuries. Violent demonstrators is expected to increase as time draws closer to the re-vote. Two more Imperial battalions have departed from Hainan to reinforce the regiment already stationed in the Chinese district to keep peace among demonstrators.

We hope that the Chileans will be reasonable and we are sure that we can hammer out a peace treaty" said General Lopez to a massive crowd in Lima. The crowd broke into cheers as Lopez and his entourage left the balcony. The Chileans had agreed to peace talks with the Peruvians after a week or two of word wars. Actual battles with the Chileans had never materialized. And hopefully never would. Two Ming class submarines have arrived in the port of Trujillo and another one is on it's way. And the supplies and sub from the CW are on their way. This is a great day for Peru.

The armor will be a traditional laminated armor plate over a new armor.

The new armor will take lessons learned in Iraq about the protectiveness of Chobbam and the lessons learned from 20 years of spying and overhearing. It is still going to take another 2 months of development to reach production. In september of this year, Russia plans to begin production of the T-100 for a solely domestic use.

It will be a 5 layer composite armor, 6 including the outer thin layer of Tungsten coating for Lamination

The largest introduction with the new system is the reduction of the crew from 3-4 to 2. The new crew is the commander and the driver. The tank features and autoloader and a fully interactive 360-degree combat screen for the commander to select targets with a helmet for dispatch by the on-board computer. All terrain and tanks are presented by real-time photography from the Shtora-2 implacement on the tank. A back up high-power radar is also installed on sides of the hulls. For the last resort, the system can be overridden for use with Mark I eyeball.

=-Offensive Weapon Systems-=

The T-100 is the first tank to incorporate a large-calibre coaxial weapon affixed to the main turret.

In addition to the main high-velocity 125-mm cannon, a more rapid 75-mm cannon has been provided.

One of the more peculiar features of the T-100 is the lack of any turret outside the rotatable cannon.

Also provided are two machine-guns on the turret. One 30-mm short-range anti-aircraft gun, and one 7.62mm anti-personnel machinegun.

All of these features are automated per commander request and toggle using the command selection device provided.

=-Drive Train-=

The new engine developed over a hiatus period in the project produces significant horsepower and speed. The new model is capable of speeds nearing 40mph off-road and 60mph on-road.

The T-100 can be used to Tow other tanks at a pace from anywhere from 5-15mph.

The engine is amphibious capable, and given 20 minutes of prep time, can be made to ford a river up to 20 meters in depth.

Patriqvium will be re-elected as Chancellor in three weeks.

An illegal demonstration broke out soon at Jakarta after the results were announced, led by royalist activists. A shot was fired upon the leaving Chancellor, but it didn't hit its target. The gunman was arrested by the military escorting Patriqvium.

The Canadian Army and Air Force are reorganizing to accomadate the new recruits, and to train them. Many pilots are being sent to CW to receive training from veteran pilots. The air force itself has just started practice missions over North Western Canada, to get practice in case of war.

A tank factory was also opened outside Toronto, with the assistance of CW engineers. It will produce fairly standard, middle-of-the-road tanks in a steady supply.

Fireworks light up the sky as Queen Elizabeth waved to the massive crowds in Wellington. The cerimony was both festive and sybolic as New Zealand entered the United Kingdom as a full partner. New Zealand is expected to elect it's representatives to the House of Commons in one months time.

Meanwhile construction on Project Lazurus Shield continued with Patriot missiles being fitted onto the Launchers. The project is being expanded to include the Falkland islands and large population and military centers in Australia and New Zealand.

Darthveda, i would suggest adding a dedicated gunner to your tank. 2 men cannot possibly keep up with maintenance on your tank as all those fancy electronics would be bound to have problems. Also other nations could afford 3 M1A2's for every one T-100. 3 to 1 is not good odds.....

OOC: Bill, what we did also wasn't a "stab". I posted I was moving troops into the CW for 4 days RT. BD also posted in the UN thread about the mission and I openly gave him my support. It's not a stab if you can see it coming from a mile away, which you should've been able to.

Canada will by entirely out of New England by the end of the week. 75% of Army forces on the Eastern front are being shuttled to the Canadian-CTA border. As far as former Canadian provinces that had been annexed into the UDSA, we shall keep these as the population is far more Canadian then 'Demesosian'.

The Japanese Diet today announced that the government plans to purchase the Kuril Islands from the Russians. The islands according to Shogun Yomitsu are traditional Japanese lands that belong to Nihon. The government however has kept the amount of money secret.

JAPANESE ENGINEERS ARRIVE IN AUSTRALIA

Today the engineers arrived in British owned Australia to begin building two military bases. The bases are both going to be built in isolated areas. One will be built in central Australia and another in the north. The British have limited us as to were we can build them. They must not be near any major population centers. So central Australia seems a logical choice.

As I write to you, my feet ache from the great march. We have reached the end of the great river and are moving northeasterly. That's what Platoon Leader Chang's been telling us at least. He's a local warrior from the a village. I think you'd like him. He has three children just like us. Even the small things, like how you used to burn the lamb, yes, admit it, you know you do, but I love you for it and I miss it. The food's nice here, but you always need some home cooking. Three Chinese divisions depart from bases in Hainan for Africa. These divisions are traveling in converted large civilian vessels to accomodate their size. Their destination is an unknown port in German Africa.

Additionial troops arrive!
2 Additional CRME Corps arrived today in the CW given Scott Rossi's previous offer to allow the Kill Bill Crusaders to let them use there land as a base for attacking. They are ready to attack should the campaign resume.

Booming economy continues!

The rewards of free trade continue to benefit the CRME. Furthermore, considering the Free Trade status with Germany, more and more CRME citizens have been able to purchase Cars, and even Car factories have been set up. Oil Prices continue to rise, much to the benefit of the CRME's economy.

2 New Corps created...


To suit the ever growing needs of the CRME, 2 New Military corps have been created. Supplied with Merkava 4's they are ready to take on the best. Furthermore, due to the CRME's histoty of war, they were able to be trained by battle-hardened officersl.

CW port guns in place...successfully hit destroyer sized target from 30 miles out...missiles knock down drone fighters and phalanx cannons shred any flyuing opposition

CW delivers more jets to Germany...military equipment arrives in Peru

Fabrication continues on fighter and helicopter...tests to begin in March

CW Naval Command eager for completion of new fleet...dedication ceremonies to be held on May 1, 2002. The following ships will be dedicated...

OOC: OK, this is the way I figure it. We should only use an option to expell Bill as an absolute last resort. Bill is young, now I know the an internet site shouldn't discriminate on age, but he still is young. We should help him get better rather than just shunning him out. However, we have tried many times to point out some of his flaws, and he still makes them. Now, upon his departure, I haven't made any acts of aggression and have simply kept the land I already had. I suggest that everyone do the same, unless they're retreating (like monolith). We should give him a time to respond to attacks before moving forward again. But, on that same token, time still passes and we can fortify our gains very well. That with the fact that the UDSA has about absolutely no military after the revolution does not allow Bill to dictate terms to us. I also have a bit of a grudge with Bill dictating terms to us in OOC and telling me to submit to his terms. Just accept my demands. Like HELL I will now! Maybe if he'd asked like with common courtesy, but I'll be damned if he'll tell me what to do. Now, true, he has been a lot. But I think the reason why he wanted to come to a forum like this was to be treated like an equal, no different from the rest of us. Now we would be doing him a wrong by giving him special treatment.

That's just my two cents.
