I seem to recall hurling abuse at everyone voting for me. The bastards wouldn't stop. Thank God I don't have to go through that sordid violation any more, though seeing as I'm senile and flatulent these days I doubt anyone would bother.

About the "outdated votes", I think there are a few mistakes:
Provost Harrison voted for CaesarTheGreat
KrazyHorse voted for Sikander
Zero voted for GhegisFarb
Maybe there are some other mistakes I let slip. I thought someone voted for Arnelos in this month's contest, but Poly's search feature tells me not

Votes in this month don't matter for last contests zeroes. Genghis Farb received votes in the January election but not the March... the same with Caesar the great. and that's why they were zeroed- not because they received no votes this time.

I'm sufficiently new here that my vote may be intrinsicaly "frivolous," but
Spiffor (surprised he wasn't there already!)
Sava the consistently trollish but genuinely idealistic Serbian, and
JohnT, who I frequently disagree with but who does his best to bring another Civver to adulthood, with pictorial documentation. Reason enough for merit in my book.

I almost never browse the OT forum (and therefore never heard of this Hall of Fame).
If the HoF concerns civ2, here is my opinion:
Having neither samson, nor solo, nor SlowThinker in makes it a joke.

Ah, but it doesn't. It considers ACS; the whole Apolyton Civilization Site.
...the fact that Zylka is in is however just pathetic. You who thought that it would be 'funny' to get him in, shame on you. If you don't know anybody who should be in HoF, don't vote.

Do I understand this right?! If you REALLY want someone to get high in this, then you have to cast your votes every months (or every times a call is made for this "ladder") ?!?!?!

I have not been very active on this before yesterday (or a few days earlier as far as I remember).... but I stubled over the thread this time and voted. But should I vote for someone special? And then for who?!
An OT-poster (they are normally very active) or some ........ (fill in yourself).

On the other hand: If you don't vote - then what...... So I voted for some of the most active CTP-players.
But what do you know.... They wrote back, that that was too much, they didn't deserve and stuff like that....
So who is crazy?! You or they (I can't be choosen as I do know where I belong ).

Mr. Ogre
The Big Mc
Pyaray
Mr. Ogre for making a dream come true by undertaking the hard role to contact Activision and comment out the source code of CtP2.
The Big Mc for starting the whole thing.
Pyaray for his great help in our first steps to make the source to compile and understand the code.

That's a good chance I think to mention some people from the CtP community that didn't and possibly never make it in the hall of fame.
WesW, Nordicus, Harlan, Dutcheese, Lung, TheBirdMan, Swissy, Mobius, Slamp, Rick Elkins, St Jon, Shavlor, King Thor, Blackice, Quinns, Nimrod, Flandrian, Nuke Boy, Gavrushka, Franses, J Bytheway, jpww, berXpert, PN, JoboZeWarrior, Yoda, checkMate, Mathemagician, Frozzy, FlameFlash, Milamber and some others I might forget.

It does seem rather dopey.
Well...I haven't voted yet -- who wants to join me in a "standing preservation bloc"?
