monolith...by all means take Canada!! I just fought a war to liberate them from European Influences and i have rebuilt their infrastructure, and a million people have flooded into the nation to repopulate it and also expend it!! It is Independent but under my military protection!! Feel free to take it cuz pretty much all the other nations are taken...you would have Ontario and New Foundland and if you wanted to i wouldnt mind allowing you to have my portion of Quebec!! All under military protection...what more could you ask for??

Does this anti-sattelite laser thing exist in real life? If not then its going to take an awful long time as well as a shitload of cash to reseach and build. And i'm talking decades and billions of dollars..........

If it does exist, then it still will take quite a bit of $ and years to repair and reconstruct.

Sigma, yes it does exist. I am assuming that it needs repairs, like most old Soviet equipment in the CIS nations. It is not very difficult, or time consuming to build, just expensive. Developing the technology is very costly, but the Soviets all ready did the hard part for China and Germany. The facilities are basically a large building with a series of laser generators and optical lenses and mirrors to refelect and focus the laser on the target. Targeting is done with computers.

The US had a facility like this in Arizona, but it was closed and torn down afer defense budget cuts ended the Star-Wars programs.

Shooting a satellite down with one of these is easy, but what the Russians and the US really wanted to do was to be able to bounce the laser off of reflective mirrors in orbit to be able to destroy nuclear missiles that had just been launched. This proved very difficult and was never successful.

I think the sanction part is more like a plead to the UN, but the other stuff is OOC.

We are going about this invasion to show the world we are not what Argentina and Chile are. We are invading to show we are opposed to what those people did.

oh, and don't forget the Panama Canal too, which they ignored as a German land. They tried to take the world hostage by making us give them technology for use of their waterways. Their government's changed I believe though

Let me see if i understand...

Argentina and Chile were overcome but violent but dim witted Dictatorships. They then threated the Falklands, blockaded the cape horn, and attempted to seize the panama canal. Then new democratic governemtns too over, made peace with the UK, repealed the blockade, and pulled out from Panama. As soon as this was done, Brazil and Peru invaded?

Isn't this like Hitler taking power, attacking Poland and Denmark. The being overthrown by a Democratic regime with pulls back and apologizes. Once all the apologies are through England and France invade to get rid of elected government for the Sins of an illegitimite dictator. Seems illogical to me.........

Since Chile and Argentina can only post on week days we petition the moderators to communicate to all that no country can throw more than one posts of "invasion" during the weekend.
We also think that it is common courtesy that these invasions should only continue after the first reply of the defender, wether it replies the invasion or not.

and as you just mentioned Hitler and the second WorldWar, doesn't the storyline seem similar?

Germany(with poland, austria, etc.) and russia attack scandinavian countries. overcome: finland goes to russia, norway goes to germany and sweeden is 'neutralized'
then, with the aid of Italy, Germany invades France. And they recently were torpedoing ships(both trading and military) with U-Boats.
Silly, who said history didn't repeat itself...
