I hate the fact that we're suddenly told to be mindful of "those less fortunate" than us.
It always cracks me up that the same people who wouldn't piss on a homeless guy if he was on fire suddenly become the paragon of charity and virtue .

it's not midnight mass if it's at 9 or 10.
and those who most visibly show their charity and virtue are often those who are least likely to practice it. it follows the inverse rule, similar to intelligence.

I love Christmas. I like the commercialism, the crappy old Rankin Bass shows, the tree and trimmings, the increased alcohol intake, wrapping and giving (and receiving), and the crisp cold weather. Christmas rules!
Just need to remove the bogus religious crap.
