Hey, imagine that. Getting revenge for my own city being nuked out of the blue... Who'd a thunk it?

I might remember wrong, but wasn't the dead peoples votes also supposed to be via PM?

Not sure, but I say open. Its not like the living can retaliate for the votes, so secrecy isn't really needed. Petitioning other dead people to vote the same as you though can be done if votes are made in the open.

I had under the table style negotiations in mind, but open could be more fun.

New minor "rule change"
If someone sends in the orders and posts a "sent" msg in this thread, but I don't recieve the order, I'll set this players orders to 'Train spy'
I don't see any reason why a player who have sent the orders, and posted that he have sent them, gets stamped as a non-active player for that round...
Though if the player doesn't post the "sent order" msg... it's his problem

If someone posts 'sent' and you don't get the orders surely you should reply in the thread that they need to resend.
If they don't see it in time then the train spy plan seems fair.

How often does it happen? Tbh I don't think I've even seen the PM system fail...........if someone posts orders sent and there are no orders it probably means they posted before sending (I often do this ) then forgot. Either that or they PM'd someone else.
Once I received someone's orders (Azazel I think) but didn't notice until after the round.
Also GT sent me a PM yesterday then cancelled it (I didn't know you could do this). I bet he sent the orders to me by mistake.

I'm not sure how many times it has happened, but several times a player has asked me why he was set to do nothing, when he has sent his order... but since I never recieved the order, and this player didn't post a "sent" msg, I couldn't see if he tried to send it, or just hoped I would just ignore this little "mistake"...
January 4th 2006
At 6 AM the city “Delphi” by GeneralTacticus got officially opened, while Skanky Burns tried to rebuild his city “Boron”, but failed because Sandman was firing 4 stockpiled nukes at him, destroying all 4 cities. A few hours later, two nukes was sent to Frozzy’s cities Pratt's Bottom & Potomac Drainage Basin, with greetings from Vlad. The world met a new terrorist organization at the stroke of midnight, as a nuke was sent to Dunny, owned by Jamski, though Jamski managed to hide his nation under some giant bunker in time, so the nuke was destroyed. Jamski quickly named this terrorist organization “TeeDee-eL”… “The Dead Leaders”. Because Azazel couldn’t make up his mind and give some orders, his city “Shrodinger” was wasted…

Does anyone here know html?
During the last many days I have tried to make the site look descent, but haven't been able to... The text-size always screws up, and I have absolutely no clue why, since the only thing I know about html is the basic rules (That you need a head and body tag)...
If someone would take a look, the files can be found here...
I guess the code might be diffecult to find around, since it's dreamweaver which created the codes for the site...

And I'm having the same problem with a site I'm designing in Netscape Composer. I'm using Copperplate Gothic as the font for most of the site, and Composer doesn't recognize it, so I have to manually add the tags. Not much of a problem ordinarily, except with tables with lots of cells.

It wasn’t a quiet day in Paveland today… both MJW and GeneralTacticus sent two nukes at his last two cities, leaving Pave in the dust. As GeneralTacticus was enjoying his winning over Pave, he should have laughed… Both Sandman and Vlad Antlerkov sent two nukes at him, destroying most of his cities. As things started to settle down, MJW had a surprise: Sending two stockpiled nukes at Jamski, destroying his only city… Later in the evening the terrorist group TeeDee-eL, sent a nuke at Sandman, who lost the unpronounceable city “Brobdingnag”. Nobody has yet to find out who’s the leader of TeeDee-eL, and from where the nukes come from. “Azazel has been away too long”, did a citizen of AzazelNation say, just before his cities Borh & Rutherford where left in a hurry during the day.
