I never use them, but from what I can remember starting out, the science guy does indeed have a funny voice.

I agree with SG [1] -- not only does April offer the best treat for the eyes, she also gives the best advice.
For a change, pick an old save and destroy some key infrastrucute -- allowing your cities to go into disorder -- then watch the Elvis show. I clicked on him early in our D+2 game (over at Cfc) and was amazed at seeing him take off after everyone else

That's the military guy, right?
As for me, I obviously like the foreign secretary best.

Yes, the military advisor getting drunk on grog and singing an old war song. If the AI has military advisors like that guy, it's no wonder why they send countless troops to their deaths on my defenses!

Oh yes...I had forgotten that! Thanks for reminding me...that is a hilarous scene.
I know most of the Civ3 guys in those forums would disagree with me, but I miss the advisors and the wonder movies that Civ2 has.

CIV STALKERS.
Yes a scary concept.
It would be strange if that's the thing she's most popularly known for.

Why hasn't there been an Apolyton interview with April Cantor?
(that's 'doitnow')

Personally, I thought hte science guy was really goofy... I couldn't stand the Trade guy... and elvis was sort of bland, though amusing... April Cantor was sort of boring... just plain vanilla.
The two most intriguing were the military and science guy

ST,
Yes, thanks for posting that old link. It was sweetly nostalgic to see the old forum format again. Did you save to disk back in 2001?? You and Marquis are listed as Warlord, SG[1] as King.

I was wondering how you were able to post a shot of the old, original (not updated) thread. Usually, what I see are the old threads reformatted to look like the current forum versions.
Therefore, I aked, "Did you save (the thread) to (your) disk back in 2001??" Which would explain how you would be able to post the old thread as you did?? And if not that, I guess I was, by implication, asking how you found that old thread shot. Just curious.
Happy Holidays, my friend.

Monk,
Old threads are in both formats. But if you have a link to the old format (as I had in this case) you can hardly get the new one, because the search feature don't go very deeply in the past.
