God, the Raiders' tackling is absolutely atrocious. Dr. Z was right; this is embarassing to watch.

I can't believe Brady is still in this game!?! After the last hit he took, and up 21-0, why!?!

New England is making this look way too easy.
Hmm... we may yet have a dynasty on our hands, people.

In the era of free agency and salary caps? Doubtful.

But we have a fairly young and deep team that should hold up till next year. Also, we're not facing a huge budget crisis. In addition, we'll still have Bill Bellicheck.
I admit that it's going to be tough, but it can happen.

All it takes is one or two starters stolen.... or even a key backup or two. This is, of course, assuming they even win the SuperBowl this year. Who was the last #1 seed in their conference to win the SuperBowl... the 1999 St. Louis Rams. #1 seeds since then haven't been treated too well . And the last time the #1 record in the NFL won? 1996 Green Bay (tied with Denver that year).
So we'll have to see if it works this year first .

Quiet, college football boy... the #1's obviously showed themelves unworthy in a 1 on 1 match against another team in the playoffs.

It's very probable that the Forrest Gimps (of whom I'm a proud member) will win the Lombardi Handicapper's League this year. How's your team doing, Imran?
We went 5-1 today, btw.

Tied for 4th, but not very far away from #3 and an outside chance at #2.

Btw, anyone watch the Seattle-SF game today? Brandon Lloyd made perhaps the BEST CATCH EVER, and that is not hyperbole. It was THAT good.

Your damm lucky that the Brothers Blue didn't have a 3rd player participating all season long, or this would be a moot question at this point!
Anyways, Darsnan comes from 12 games down over the last 3 weeks to grab the lead in the Lombardi Handicappers League! Eat my dust, Gimps!

I have 134 wins currently this season to lead our league. brtndr4u has 130 wins this season. Our 3rd player has 53 wins this season. You do the math....

We actually went 8-1, and with a seven point lead over SKP and BBB, we are heavy favorites to clinch the season title.
It's been a great year for the Gimps. John and I still have a shot at the individual season title, but that's of lesser importance.

Yeah, Darsnan's group got screwed. If they had someone participating all year long, they would have definetly been around 1st place (if not having it). You two guys did GREAT this year!

Yeah... congrats... we sucked this year. A late season comeback couldn't make up for a crappy start. Thank god I'm doing better in Fantasy

And the last Sunday of the regular season begins... and no Monday night game.
1/2 hour to go until the early games start...

Well the Falcons just won. They are 3-1 under Vick this year, who had a pretty good game (I believe with a passer rating over 90 in this game).
Tennessee is spanking Tampa... who benched Johnson for King, who is actually playing better.
The Colts just tied the Texans (were they trying to give the divison away?).
New Orleans is beating Dallas.
Miami just went ahead of the Jets in what looks to be a good game.
DETROIT is stunning the Rams! The Rams just don't want to go the Superbowl this year. The Eagles path to the Superbowl is looking SOOO much better. They just hope they don't have to run into Stephen Davis and the Panthers (since they can't stop the run).
KC is slaughtering the Bears. No suprise there. All 3 QBs got in for the Bears... and all have sucked .
CLEVELAND is beating Cincy (same old Bengals ), behind the big running day of Lee Suggs.

Vanderjagt gets the consecutive kicks record AND the win for Indy, winning them the division... what a clutch kick!

So the AFC is SET:
1. NE
2. KC
3. Indy
4. Balt
5. Tenn
6. Den
What shows up immediately is that because Indy won the division they play DENVER in the first round, who dismantled them a week ago. Bye bye Indy.
Baltimore and Tennessee will be a great game.
The NFC is still up for grabs depending on the Car/NYG game (well that's not hard to predict), the GB/Den game, and the Min/Ari game (which Minnesota's play, you never know). But Seattle is DEFINATELY in. 5 of the 6 teams are in. The last one will be either Minn or GB. GB ONLY gets in if Minn loses and they win.
This is the NFC:
1. Phi
2. StL
3. Car/Min
4. Car/Min/GB
5. Sea
6. Dal
edit: Sea is 5 and Dal is 6.
