Just in case some still refuse to believe: SANTA LIVES IN FINLAND
Yep. In Finland, Korvatunturi, lies Santa Claus's humble abode. Not in North Pole or any pansy location like that.
In Finland.

The one at North Pole must be some kind of anti-Santa, sent to the Earth by Santan to seduce the weak-willed away from the true Santa who lives in Finland.

Naturally, he lives in Greenland. According to tonight's news, the Home Rule Administration of Greenland has denied Santa further funding. It seems that until now, the taxpayers of Greenland and Denmark have paid for Santa's services. Tonight, Santa went on national Danish TV urging for people to make it a political priority and notify their political representatives.
I kid you not. I know it sounds difficult to believe but I swear I'm not making this up.

Pffff, I can say that after having been there (the finland one), that it has absolutely nothing to do with anything even remotely commercial.

It's so the North Pole. All you 'claimers' are just making yourselves look foolish.

I read in the papers the Finnish one had to make some cutbacks in his workforce this year. Competition is stiff it seems.

The Finns owe an explanation as to why Santa would choose to live and work in the European Union. There are probably a thousand rules and regulations regarding underpaid elfs.

In that case, I revise my original statement. Santa lives in some South Pacific Third World country .

Imram -
People have went to north pole, and there's nobody there. It's barren - empty icescape. So your claim that santa is there indicates that santa is nothing (which is not true). And no matter how much you argue and shout, Santa still lives in Finland.
Oh, BTW:

Have you watched Tim Allen's "The Santa Clause" or even the much anticipated "The Santa Clause 2"? Santa lives under the ice!!!
Thus, Global Warming will destroy santa

Now, Monk is naturally wrong. For one thing, his 'typically' remark would indicate there have been past instances where he's been right and I've been wrong. And clearly, he's wrong.
Let Google prove it to you:
Google search on Santa Claus is Finnish produces 8 results,
while Google search on Santa Claus is Danish produces one paltry result. And as we know, the Internet is never wrong. So there.
I don't know what kind of an impostor you've got there, but you desperately need to do something. Think of all the children sending their letters to this fake Santa.
