yep I was going to make a thread on this and forgot. Good work coming up with the picture. Hilarious stuff.
From what I heard on the radio (so it has to be true ), PETA gave kids this pamphlet saying your mommy kills animals. They gave these to kids who went to see the nutcracker. Supposedly they did not give them to children under 13.

How long before a real animal welfare organisation sues PETA for giving animal welfare a bad name?

Of course she does, but it has nothing to do with fur coats. My mom likes to hunt, and she and her father go out hunting fairly often. We had deer hanging in the garage most years.
Honestly, where the heck were these yo-yos doing this?
Still, it's going to be a while before they manage to top their "Drink Beer, not Milk" capaign.

PETA always does campaigns that will give them the most press coverage. This time, they have crossed the line. I hope the negative backlash for this crap comes back and bites them in the ass.

Wouldn't that deer begin to stink, after a couple of years?

Never miss the rare opportunity to point out a Wraith misspelling.

Yeah, they really have crossed the line, not that it'll matter to them.

I think we should have a 'Your Mommy Kills PETA Members' campaign .

Actually, I've rarely seen any mommies killing animals. They usually buy them dead.

If they give it only to kids over 13, then it won't have any effect except to make them say "Cool! Maybe she'll play Halo with me!"

no, but consumer demand prompts the slaughter of billions of animals... I just don't give a **** about animals. I mean, what the hell kind of existence would they normally have? ooooh they'd roam around in the "wild" before some predator kills them. Does that make humans more evil than any other animal because we are smart enough to breed them and use them? No...
but... I think we should strive to treat animals humanely as possible before we slaughter them and eat them.
That's why I won't eat at Kentucky Fried Chicken Holocaust and I won't eat veal.
But people need to accept the fact that demand for products that use animal part DOES LEAD TO ANIMAL DEATH.

Before they changed their tactics because of the outcry (possibly a first from PETA as they realized that NONE of their traditional mouthpieces were coming to their defense), they were planning on targeting children under 10. That's what people were "mad about."

Even funnier, those animals wouldn't have existed in the first place otherwise

Yeah, but did your mommy take a knife and kill all those animals like on the poster?
