I'd say it is a bit wackier - at least in the case of Christianity, it comes from being raised that way. These people came up with this stuff themselves

nah, I think that's better... I respect someone who has come to weird conclusions on their own accord rather than some ignorant sheep who has been brainwashed since birth.

Well, I don't. You can't really help being taught wacky stuff. You can help thinking it up yourself.

Would you rather be a normal sheep or a brain-damaged shepherd?

I'm Theben at evey forum I've been to, that I've bothered to register. I've been to Sidgames, PROT, CG, newsmax, and was at Frontier but it's been so long I don't remember my password let alone the http:// address.
And I also registered at sgvy but they seem to have an abundance of furries and probably some otakukin so I've been afraid to do more than lurk...

With respect to the members of this community, I have a few questions I'd like to ask you all, if you'll oblige me.
First, what caused you to believe that you were fictional characters in your past lives?
Second, do you think you would have come to that realisation if you hadn't already read or seen the work of fiction that that character came from?
Third, what would you say to someone who asked for proof or a reason to believe that you were a fictional character?
|
... Ahhhh, a slim thread of rationality...

What good is having an army of false names if you can't use 'em?

I still see Giant Squid regularly on http://pub9.ezboard.com/bshireroth (plus some other folks like WarVoid and innumerablecaravan less regularly on related fora), I read St. Leo's journal at /., a good time ago I saw some Poly poster on some kind of a spin-off forum of http://boards.lionhead.com but I've forgotten the details, and... hm... it seems I've befriended ACS_MarkG at /.. I haven't ever seen him post, though...

I once saw Zulu[some numbers] when lurking on a Medieval Total War forum. Other than that, nothing except the usual 'Polyite at CFC, FFZ or CG.

I checked out the Analog Science Fiction forum recently, and one of the first names I ran into was TCO. (Also known here as GP, and I gather he's been banned.)

GP/TCO voluntarily restricts himself from Apolyton, claiming that it takes up too much of his work time.

How'd you get banned from FFZ, DC? I used to go there quite frequently, but not as much since MtG turned it over to what's-his-name and it turned into a soccer site (or something like that).
