What time frame do we expect to be able to play in?
The UN would like to know what time zones/frames that all the teams could be able to play the majority of their turns in.
I will post this poll using GMT as standard time.
For those that don't know where they are in relation to GMT, please check out this site: http://greenwichmeantime.com

Like Octavian said it would depend on the consuls, but I would think 0000-0600 gmt (roughly 7pm to 1am on the U.S. east coast...if I have my conversion right ) would be the optimal time to play unless our consuls are all European or Down Under.

I also think 0000-0600 is the best for us.
It's 4PM to 10 PM PST.
It's 7PM to 1 AM EST.
It's 1PM to 7 PM New Zealand Time. (for WIA)
It's 8-10AM to 2-4PM for Australians.

Hey Octavian X, I live in one of the northwestern suburbs in NW St Louis County, so you can't be more than a couple hours away.
As for timezones though, we are in the Central Standard Time which is -6. We are only -5 in the summer.

D'OH!
Well, it's nice to know another fellow Missourian. Last I checked, it's a 2 hour drive to St. Louis from here.

Please note that daylight savings will change your position from GMT.
Why exactly does the UN want to know this? They can't expect every team to stick to those times, can they?

Exactly jordie. Nobody is expecting that evry team always play exactly on time. Just a little order is all they are looking for.

They are trying to establish a logical turn order. Exactly how we are going to track turn times is still up for debate. 24 hours vs a timer (like the ISDG) have been discussed but not for sometime.

Why is this a poll then? The Consuls should decide on this between them. THEY are the ones actually going to play the game..!

Everyone can be a Consul. Thus the times could change over time. This is just to get a general idea of what would be best. We will not be held at gunpoint and be made to play during this time.
