Consider yourself lucky that you didn't. Diablo 2 is totally mindless...Icewind Dale is hack'n'slash, but does have some depth to it which keeps it interesting and fun. Another problem I have with Diablo 2 is the fact that you can only store a limited amount of stuff and there is a cap on how much money you can have (one does not have this problem with Icewind Dale)...this aspect of Diablo 2 really turned me off, but then again it is a mindless hack'n'slash that is more sutable to a 12 year old as opposed to someone like me who remembers a time before fire was discovered!
well I got what I paid for, full version shareware from trygames.com!
