Creating A Civ
How do I create a unique civilization, such as the Polish or something, to incorporate into Civ3Gold, in addition to the original 24? Is there a way?

there is an editor installed by civ itself, and it's shortcuts should be in the program group.

All I have to do is specify the new civ in the editor and set all the attributes...and I'll be able to use it?

I dunno how C3:Gold is. I'm assuming it is nothing more than a pack of C3+PtW, and doesn't change any shortcuts, interface, or anythign
Start Menu
Programs > Infogrames > Civ3 Play the World > Civ3XEditor > Civ3XEdit
Scenario > Custom Rules
Rules > Edit > Civilizations...
Then, add as you wish
Save it as somethign like "civwithpolish.bix" then open that scenario the next time you play.
You CAN save it to the original game (civ3x.bix), but I HIGHLY recommend against that and also MAKE SURE you back up that file if you change it.

If I save it to the civ3x.bix file, will the new civilization show up when I click on the New Game button, instead of loading the same scenario with the same map every time?

Yes, AFAIK.
BUT BEFORE YOU DO, back up the original copy of civ3x.bix.

I'll be sure of that. And, if I do screw it up, I can always re-install Civ3Gold.

Also, when I ran my created civilization in the scenario, and zoomed in on one of my cities, I was able to create world leaders as units. How do I disable this?

Shane,
Check-out the Creation Forum. It's full of info on modding/adding to Civ (all flavors).
